  1. Good news is Uncle Lennie can take the wood back to B&Q and the nails. He won't have worry about making that new Trophy cabinet.
  2. Stop beating around the bush Shadders, and say what you think.
  3. Im just looking forward to seeing the lad back on the track again. I wonder how many of the people calling him a 'Little s41t' ect will be blowing smoke up his ass, IF ( Note the word) he goes on to become a decent grand Prix rider in years to come. It would be interesting also what mouthpiece Shovvy would think to him If Ford came out waving his chequebook about in a few years time. The Boy has a lot of learning to do, both on and off the track, but hey lets not worry about that, lets all give it to a 15 year old schoolboy.
  4. Sounds like a Poole rider of the future. Took Ward a good few years to mature, as I recall. Then again he was a Poole rider Shovvy so he couldnt have possibly been a jumped up little s41t.
  5. I would have thought Matt Ford would want to strengthen this team up. He is a born winner.
  6. Yet good enough to replace Doyle at Number one, for the League Champions, Or not as it turns out.
  7. Surely all riders go through peaks and troughs during the course of a season. Maybe this is Ales's time for a down turn. I wonder if the fans would be calling for Mon The Fish and his 6 fingered salutes if he had been poor in the opening few meetings ? Another example from the Panthers camp of last year would be Norbert. He couldnt buy a point at the start of the season, got the sack, then was brought back and was a different rider.
  8. I think Panthers fans should be careful what they wish for. Ok, Dryml has not had the greatest of starts to the season. Then again if you wind the clock back 12 months to a certain Mr Hougaard, and look how he turned it around for you guys.
  9. Really surprised Somerset went with Morris in heat 15, been much better going with Procter.
  10. Must be a dodgy batch of fuses someone supplied in the East of England
  11. Malc you must gutted. PnP day now on Sunday meaning you won't be able to take advantage of the £1 entrance fee for the Merrivale Model Village on the same day.
  12. Once this Panthers team get dialed in and get their motors sorted, I cannot see many teams going there and getting much. What did Boro fans think to the drop in standard, something you will get use to ?
  13. If Bunyan cannot afford to do the Grand Prix Maybe he should have declined the invite. Sayfutdinov did. Rye House is his bread and butter. Sorry to say it but what is the point of him actually being there, its not as if he is even Ziwi.
  14. So If Bunyan is staying In New Zealand does this mean the likes of Batch and Ward have stayed in Oz ? If so would /Swindon Poole be entitled to R/R or a guest ?
  15. I agree with you Baggy, but are there enough of these rookies to go around, and what do you do with riders who have a year or two's experience but aren't yet up to Premier League standard ?
  16. How is Terry Waters these days, I read somewhere he had a few problems, does he ever rock up at the Speedway ?
  17. To fair to Malcolm He is appearing to disassociate himself from the Operating/ownership side of Stoke Speedway. He is hired in to manage the team, the same way that someone like Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was brought in by Vincent Tang at Cardiff, for example.
  18. Malc is there any chance that Prem League racing will return to Stoke in short too medium term ? I well remember the strap line of Proud Potter when you took on the job at Stoke.
  19. Will Andy Mountain continue to ride for Lynn in the MDL or was he just there for his boys development ?
  20. Matt Ford throwing a few quid at Scunthorpe cannot be compared to the amount of time, effort and indeed money that Buster has put into youth development at Kings Lynn. Did Ford not chance his arm with Bournemouth, look how long that lasted.
  21. Cheers Dale for putting the record straight re-Connor
  22. I guess the Class of 14 was always going to be a bit of a come down compared to the one of 13. Like Baggy, I am a little disappointed to see young Mountain not at Lynn, after coming through the MDL. Perhaps Dale could tell us why he couldnt give him the 6/7 race jacket.
  23. Somerset Plymouth Rye House Ipswich Peterborough
