  1. If Wolves don't retain the title down to their promoters miserly ways, I think it is hilarious. With the re-assessed 'Premiership' averages Lindgren was the best value #1 in the league, lets face it Poole have spent almost as much in team building points on a Danish rider who is 10 years beyond his best as a number 2 and have signed a #1 who is at best inconsistent, at worst will go to a party rather than turn up for a Monday night Sky meet. Nicholls & Harris were both available, and I'm certain would have joined Wolves if offered the chance, solid second heat leaders on any track in the country. Nicholls being 5th in the away averages says as much. Probably cheaper than Thorsell, to boot. No flights. Imagine if they'd signed both! Clegg was a cert. Only going to improve, Then we have Klindt, an enigma admittedly but a club asset. Can score a bucketful of points if it is night even if they are every third night, whether in the team or at reserve, Wolves could have easily fitted him in at reserve to start the season. As Wolves didn't do this and have been forced to resign Howarth as a second Brit, they maybe better than Swindon & Coventry. Congrats Wolves fans!
  2. R. Lambert Schlien Batchelor Porsing Korneliussen Huckenbeck S. Lambert
  3. Have a feeling BV will sign Josh Grajczonek, along with Cooke, S Worrall & Hougaard as their top 4.
  4. Never Sherlock, by 10 points AKA 20%, it used to be by 50%
  5. I'd go for Kylmakorpi, Wright, Masters, Starke, Tungate, Allen... Whatever is left after that for the final rider
  6. As have I. I hope he filters his email as he will probably get allot.
  7. I don't know. Are you now Brady's Championship pimp? Did pimping Cyfer to Premiership Clubs become futile?
  8. Masters, Tungate, Wright, Starke, Allen. Pick a #1 & a #7. I can't be arsed to add up averages at this point.
  9. They won't use him after he gets an average in May/June, clashes with Danish fixtures will be cited else he will have a sprained appendix for any matches he needs to be at, that don't clash with his Danish fixtures. Mercenary. But a very useful rider on his average in this watered down League. I am amazed his parent club haven't taken advantage of this, they clearly have a modicum of integrity these days. Which they lacked in the early 90's.
  10. When I saw the Swindon 1-7 I thought it would be noncompetitive, seeing other teams announcements or the lack there of. I don't think it is that bad.
  11. As a Cradley fan, when the land was sold on our old (and I use the term loosely compared to Brandon) stadium, we had reasonable banked terracing, a few bars & an under cover section. Your only hope is Rugby Council, they are who you need to protest to.
  12. Shocking photos, looks like the stadium owners are cutting off their nose to spite their face.
  13. Which is why I don't think there will be a 3rd Brit at Monmore, the Howarth signing seems down to that to me. So American Wells would somewhat makes sense as 3rd heat leader. But that only gives you an extra 1.05 to play with for the final 2 riders. 10.58.
  14. If Wolves end up with that septet I will be amazed. Or anything built along those lines. Which is why I cannot see Masters being included in the Wolves team now.
  15. Absolutely no idea where Wolves are going with their team building now Klindt has signed for Poole. After the Howarth signing I didn't think CVS/Adams would sign Masters alongside the two Swedes, it just looks a too top heavy line-up for them.
  16. Have you managed to secure a team spot for your hoe* Cyfer yet. Maybe you should try posting his availability on the NL team building thread. *since I can't type wh0r3
  17. With the signing of Howarth, I cannot see Wolves going top heavy. Masters to lead the Rebels with Grajczonek & Tungate as back up. Means potentially... Masters 8.97 Wright 6.59 Grajczonek 8.9 Batchelor 7.36 Tungate 9.03 Allen 5.96 Wajknecht 3 0.19
  18. I don't know much about Porsing, assume he will be in the Stars engine room. Good or bad signing?
  19. The signing of Howarth by Wolves surprised me, once the two Brits per team agreement as in place I thought Harris or Nicholls would nailed on for Wolves. Both of them signing for Rye House means CVS/Adams have probably had to re-think. What the Howarth signing does confirm for me is that Wolves lowest averaging rider to start the year will be Clegg. No 2 pointers. No too top heavy for a CVS/Adams team. Lindgren 10.09 Musielak 6.34 Howarth 7.18 Proctor 6.68 Thorsell 9.88 Clegg 4.34 Klindt 5.42 0.07 to spare.
  20. Lindgren will be Wolves highest averaging rider going into next season, there is not a rider out there unsigned or not of being the best rider around Monmore next year with a higher average. If Zagar is as expensive as claimed Wolves wouldn't touch him regardless of average. CVS/Adams very rarely build top heavy teams.
  21. Sarjeant will turn what should be a nailed on reserves heat 5-1, into a 3-3 by jumping the start once every other meeting. Other than Sky matches I haven't seen much of Coventry recently. Is Sarjeant likely to overtake Shanes, Branford & Clegg if he gifts them a 15m start?
  22. Someone from the John Perrin school of track preparation has obviously been employed by the Stars.
