  1. Have exchange our tickets for the Grand Opening for seats in the Grandstand for the 2nd leg of the play-off's at the NSS. Never actually managed to speak to someone in the ticket office but they reply quick enough to emails. Obviously hoping and expecting the Aces to keep it interesting in the first leg now. I guess the Cinema opposite will stop people parking again like at the World Cup, so parking suggestions appreciated.
  2. Clearly Poole are rubbish at Monmore when the home team prepare the track to their advantage as they should. Kurtz was barely able to complete a lap. What a rider.
  3. I hope no Swedish team sign Janowski next year, that was a pathetic showing. Congrats to Rospiggarna winning in style.
  4. He stopped when he was last a GP rider, maybe he'll give Sweden a miss if he hasn't been paid by Indianerna as reported. Have you ever seen a rider who locked up in front of another rider who laid his bike down to avoid excluded. I haven't. The theory in refs heads is that the following rider can avoid going outside or inside regardless of track conditions (I am not saying it is correct). If riders were excluded for locking up mid turn Ben Barker, James Wright, even Billy Hamill & a young Tony Rickarsson would have never had a career. Admittedly it is more difficult at Monmore due to its size than at other tracks. But the constraints of the track should not influence a referees decision. Why couldn't Ellis go outside or inside a maroon PK, lack of skill & bike control? Belle Vue do not have a massive home advantage, it is the least 'British' of tracks in Britain. Nicholls was better at Purfleet in the Semi, than at the NSS. Unless Zagar is at the party I can see Lindgren & Woffiden scoring paid maxes there. Wolves have the bigger hitters in the final. Really? In the only year they didn't win in recent years. Team this year was Dudek, Kasprzak, Pawlicki & Zmarzlick.
  5. Congrats to Wolves, pathetic showing from Buczkowski & Kurtz. People say the Howarth win in heat 12 was crucial, I think it may have been more of a case that Ellis & Newman were knackered. Howarth has been a disappointment for me this year. Clegg was poor tonight, as was PK after heat 1. I said on Monday if Wolves make the inside grippy they'll win easy because not one of the Poole riders will go near it. And that's what happened early heats and how the 12 points disappeared. The Eliis exclusion was harsh, but I have only once seen the rider locking up in front but staying on excluded when the rider behind him has to take avoiding action. That was Rempala & Richardson in the SWC at Poole in 2004? Had Ellis hit PK, then I'd expect PK to be excluded so the ref made the only decision he could. If Tungate didn't get excluded in heat 15 then Holder should have as he caused Tungate to fall. If cold have been all 4 back, unsatisfactory start but neither Holder nor Tungate were going to beat Lindgren this evening so no real argument. Interesting team building for Wolves this winter, Woffinden won't do a full season, I suspect Lindgren won't either now his GP spot is confirmed. Although it maybe made easier if all teams except Poole are only allowed 6 riders, which is highly likely
  6. How can a 24 years old who has been an Elite Draft rider for at least 2 years, stay as such. It is ridiculous. Riders over 20 years old should have 2 years being 'Elite Draft' by which time they'll either be too good for such a status or clearly not good enough.
  7. So Wolves have no Thorsell due to Swedish Playoffs? Do they get a guest?
  8. Really enjoyed that meeting, just hope the EF's don't cost Dackarna, who put up a hell of a fight with their backs to the wall. If Rospiggarna win easily tomorrow as I suspect they will, then those EF's wont matter. Rospiggarna deserve to win the league, hope Dackarna can keep it interesting.
  9. Exactly. There is more chance of Thorsell, Masters & Howarth (the Wolves outside liners) at least trying to ride the inside than there is of any Poole rider going near it. Especially without the two Danes.
  10. Tungate for Pedersen. Good stuff. Hope Monmore track team pack the inside hard and grippy with nothing on the outside for Holder, Tungate & Lindback.
  11. Another fantastic performance from Doyle, surely it is his title to lose now, can he cope with that pressure? Fabulous stuff from Zagar glad he has found some form. Is Iversen the unluckiest rider this year I wonder, deserves I Wildcard next year.
  12. So who does any Hammers fan think would have scored than R/R did for AJ tonight?
  13. Wolves need their Clegg to have a good meeting on Monday to make the final, it is a good mix. Wolves strength is 3, 4, 5. Poole strength is 1, 2, 6, 7. Howarth IMO has been a disappointment for Wolves this year at reserve but a couple of crucial passes tonight, to keep the meeting close.
  14. Lambert should go for an SEC spot, as should Harris next year. The NSS should offer to host an event for both, we won't get the SWC for a few more years. As for the pairs, it is upto the BSPA to get a sponsor to stump up for the inclusion of a British pair, Hagon Shocks possibly? And offer to host an event at the NSS.
  15. Only saw the first 12 heats due to the delay & the meeting being recorded. I was hoping someone other than the established would win, but glad Milik finished on the podium. First 12 heats were poor.
  16. Why would Kumla be struggling financially? Crowds always look decent on TV, some of the worlds best riders to watch every other week. If the Elitserien is not financially successful other than Poland is there anywhere for the best riders in the world to ply their trade?
  17. Thank you Lindgren, Iversen & Zengota for making that viewing worthwhile. Anyone know why Lindback didn't turn up or why the Indians didn't use Protasiewicz instead of Lindback. If he didn't turn up the night before? I hope Dackarna can make the final worthwhile to watch. Can they team tinker? Do they have to use Dudek @#1, they would be better served putting Dudek v Vaculik & Ljung v the R/R for AJ. I don't know how the team rules are.
  18. All to play for, can Swindon get a point? I doubt Swindon would be cannon fodder if Doyle rides like he does in the GP's at Belle Vue. Belle Vue have top spot so they have the choice, would they choose Swindon or would they rather knock Poole out in the Semi before Andersen is fit and while Tungate can't guest because he'll be busy.
  19. Fabulous meeting just watched. I can't guess who is coming first out of a bend and who is coming last out of a bend if all riders are fast enough on that track. Zagar & Nicholls need to perform better if the Aces are to win the title.
  20. Just watched first leg of Dackarna v Rospiggarna final will be one sided unless Dackarna can pull something special out the bag. Mikeal Max was dreadful. How much leeway do team managers in Elitserien have to put riders in certain positions? Do Dackarna have to use Dudek @#1? I think they would be best served putting Dudek v R/R for AJ as many times as possible, Holta v Lahti & Gomólski against Doyle, since he is the most likely to out gate him and ride the same line. Janowski needs to come to the party. At least the Indians meant the Pirates wont make win the title
  21. Watched the Pirates getting a drubbing this morning. I hope Dackarna can make a fist of the final.
  22. What an awful performance from the Indians, watching Holta beat Iversen & Lindback is painful. Why did they use Protasiewicz & Cyfer. So Rospiggarna can do what considering AJ is now out for the season? They deserve to win the league.
  23. What a pathetic team Kings Lynn put out for this TV meeting, are they trying to destroy the Speedway soul Sky TV watchers?
