It's pretty obvious from his GP efforts that Woffinden is adverse to taking a risk these days, he said at the Peter Craven memorial at the start of the season he'd sign for Belle Vue if he only had to ride home meetings. A fairly unrealistic position, but maybe that's what he did for Esbjerg - don't know don't follow the Danish league. Perhaps he feels British track are unsafe - Owlerton is certainly intimidating with it's high speeds and narrow track. Couldn't comment on the others - never been to Foxhall or Saddlebow Rd, can't imagine he'd feel that wat about EoESg. And it doesn't explain why he doesn't participate in the British final. Anyway back to Lions 2023, what average would Woźniak be considered a valuable signing on if he wouldn't return on his 2016 5.91 figure? Musielak averaged 8.30 for all matches in 2022 and has a rolling GSA of 7.91. Wozniak is considered a better rider by Polish teams but Musielak has far more experience in Britain. Musielak didn't ride in Elitserien so there is no way to compare them, but I'd think Woźniak would at least match what Musielak did over the course of a season.

In some cases yes, but not in Castagna's in my opinion having seen him ride for the Brummies for most of the 2021 season.

Maybe Wozniak will be re-assessed but not a GP rider and unlikely to ever make the Polish SWC team so wouldn't be 7.5 I wouldn't think, Woffinden won't return to British League racing.

Wozniak on 5.7 would be the signing to excite.

If I'm not going to see a decent race when the heats involve the likes of Doyle, Musielak & Harris I'll never. @ least I can support Belle Vue and any team facing the Witches. It is a good idea. When else can a fan see Doyle v Harris at Monmore or Fricke v Ellis at EoESg or King v Becker at Owlerton. Great idea, poorly executed.

Never really understood why anyone expected anything more than 6.5ish average from Pickering. He's not a CL #1, average less than 8.5 in second tier. Anything above 6 in top tier should be considered a bonus. Speedway fans are a loyal bunch, one or other will be enough, but not neither.

If Harris is off to Leicester. I am assuming Andersen will not be back. Is Basso the only 2022 Panther likely to return?

Castagna is a reasonable second strong in the Championship but he's never going to be any more than that! Thorsell be on 8.5ish average and his scores in Elitserien haven't been good. Unlikely. Woffinden said he'd only sign for Belle Vue if he only had to ride home matches. Signed for Vastervik in Sweden and will be in Ekstraliga, along with GP's that will be enough for him you'd think. Would Morris prefer to stay at Leicester?

The meeting at the NSS had better happen, my admittance was paid for in February with this rest of my season ticket

Not really sure why the meeting scheduled at Owlerton is the Monday & the meeting at the NSS is on the Thursday. Surely the natural order of things would be vice versa.
