An 8 team EL doesn't particularly excite but I'd rather be watching Iversen, Batchelor, Bjerre (as a member of the opposition), Andersen (just about as he's PL standard these days anyway) - who are all our riders: or probably Poole assets now! I just don't get this magic ingredient that successful business people need to succeed in a minority sport or that they suddenly lose the skills to pick the right people and spot the bull merchants? What are the magic ingredients Ford has? As for Bratters, he's at the ABAX alternate Saturdays and doing Mrs Bratley's shopping in Sainsburys most Sundays. Rick chose Oakes for some reason didn't he. Bratters could survive in the world of shark infested custard and could still be tempted if the right offer came along but I don't think that he wants to spend too much time on the road these days; and with Peterborough being a roaring success since he left it looks like the offer to join them again will not be forthcoming, so get out it is I assume!
