Let's hope not!

So says the Newcastle version Leicester's of Nigel Pearson (you'll need to look it up ).

Standard text for stories relating to season tickets is up on previous years. However, they were a silly price, without figures from 2014 and previous years it means nothing, they pluck figures of of the air with these stories and paper never refuses ink. About 150 season tickets didn't cause the problems, it was a rubbish package on a silly race night. The winter shenanigans lost fans from the start, those were not replaced and there was never going to be an increase with the supremo at the helm. Anyway, that's history and people just need to get on with it. I'm no fan of where we are, but as someone posted elsewhere, you can't get to where you want to be if you don't exist!

Judging by the response I get on here Tel, it'd be pity the poor sod who gets sat near me We've done the parking thing. Trouble is too many idiots and too much else going on inside the EoES too often these days? No tannoy would certainly stop the invisible interviews and often awful music, but last time someone down our way in PE1 mentioned wireless & Bluetooth etc they called for the Witchsmeller Pursuivant. Unfortunately they floated so we had to find some kindling and a post. I'd stop calling it a season ticket (same arguments every bloody season) and call it the Peterborough Speedway Fans Sponsorship pass. By buying one you show support to the club by helping to provide funds for the upcoming season and the pass then allows entry to 18 meetings with programme and free parking, plus some other concessions I need to work on and name in programme and Sponsorship pass holders link in the sponsors area of the website.

Horton did that last year and it ended up with a November whip round amongst the fans as he was offski!

Certainly hasn't taken long for the fundraising goodwill to retreat into it's bunker. You could see that £30 as your contribution (if you haven't already) and continued show of support. However, I'm not having a personal dig and can see your point of view, even if a somewhat extreme example.
-
Surely the vast majority these days can do their own picture for little cost to themselves. As for Arsenal, their general rules say: "the Season Ticket is issued for your sole use and you shall not sell, dispose of, assign, transfer, lend or otherwise deal with the Season Ticket or the benefit of it to any other person without the prior written consent of the Club. " As for the six, that's ok but one is for sole use: "If more than one Season Ticket is issued to you, one Season Ticket must be retained by you for personal use (subject to the provisions) and the remainder may be transferred to a Guest(s) for his/her/their personal use only (with provisos).

We had credit card style tickets for years which didn't require one so it was unusual at Peterborough until 2014. If the tickets are numbered and ticked off against the programme list, as they were last season, then that's a security check isn't it?

When you don't reply I'm very happy. Fans are told (well those of us who turn up) to check the website. That will be the first port of call for most people seeking information about Peterborough speedway so surely logic dictates that that's where important information should go first. Sarcasm works fine for me whereas I can see that you like to think of yourself as Sargeant Arthur Wilson when in fact you're not much different!
-
I see Tsunami likes the post. At least he'll be able to get his application in now before Xmas. He doesn't need to attend but he knows speedway's not cheap to run and can show support to his fellow promoters

-
You never know, the information might appear on Panthers website at some point along with other 2015 prices?
-
Posh Chairman https://twitter.com/DMAC102 It's all going a bit PeteTong at the moment so your troubleshooting skills could be invaluable at the ABAX; cleverly renamed because we were promised fortress London Road which now doesn't now apply - if the last post confused you then that should be just the ticket Anyway, back to the speedway, first objective achieved as expected - so good news on that front! Sense lesson over so you can leave us in peace now
-
It'll certainly answer a question.
-
I'm sure that you put your £26 in the post and I tweeted Darragh MacAnthony to suggest that he gets in touch with you as you'll be able to tell him where it's going wrong!
-
7.45 kick off. See you at the ABAX for the return of CMS.

If you're going to have a go then at least read the replies: Did you not read #606 or #639 "Just to clarify my position on this. I support what's going on because it keeps the club going and that's the only way that we can get back into the EL. I do not support the direction that we've been going in during 2014 & now 2015." It is the best track in the country with some of the best facilities which is why it should be at the top level of British Speedway. Not being keen about being in the PL again (although to be fair, Lakeside and Belle Vue turning up twice isn't appealing either) is nothing like wanting the club to close.
-
That was an afterthought wasn't it? I thought you'd answer the question rather than add an extra line to your post do deflect attention from the question? Anyway don't bother: PETERBOROUGH co-owners Rick Frost and Julie Mahoney have given their full backing to the club’s survival attempt. While they remain unable to assume hands-on control due to business and family commitments, they are ready to boost the rescue package put together by long-serving co-promoter Trevor Swales and Ged Rathbone. Mahoney added: “I want to place on record my thanks to both the BSPA management committee and those in charge at the Showground for allowing us to reach a position where survival can be achieved. “Trevor and Ged are the only party to have shown a serious interest in keeping Peterborough on track and we very much hope they are successful in doing so. Seems plenty of will all round to me
-
How can I miss it, you never shut up about it. I've missed the the fact that Rick doesn't have the will though, where did it say that?
-
No point in saying anything to you though, you're on a one-way street with blinkers on . After last week's announcement I am wondering though what Rick and Julie's strategy is with getting themselves and Readypower involved again because you said: Tsunami (BSF) said, on 25 Jan 2014 - 2:32 PM: Ha Ha. And i'm the one supposed to be 'putting the boot into' Frost. I have a lot of respect for Rick but speedway was just not for him. Funnily enough posted as you were poking your nose in on the Peterborough thread last close season. So a question then as you like discussion: What have Rathbone and Swales got that Rick didn't have?
-
Well that'll get Tsunami reaching for his Ladybird Illustrated Dictionary if nothing else
-
It's not their business.
-
You've not missed anything apart from people getting ahead of themselves! Swales said: “We were not in a position to declare we would run at the annual meeting and we now have the next few days in which to get there. “We remain hopeful that we can hit our target and must stress again that we will not consider running if we fall short.

All too technical for me Tel, I don't do rules and averages. It was only a response to the resident loony!
-
Also, why would we offload North (if we have) and then pay a loan fee?
