  1. I see Tsunami likes the post. At least he'll be able to get his application in now before Xmas. He doesn't need to attend but he knows speedway's not cheap to run and can show support to his fellow promoters
  2. You never know, the information might appear on Panthers website at some point along with other 2015 prices?
  3. Posh Chairman https://twitter.com/DMAC102 It's all going a bit PeteTong at the moment so your troubleshooting skills could be invaluable at the ABAX; cleverly renamed because we were promised fortress London Road which now doesn't now apply - if the last post confused you then that should be just the ticket Anyway, back to the speedway, first objective achieved as expected - so good news on that front! Sense lesson over so you can leave us in peace now
  4. I'm sure that you put your £26 in the post and I tweeted Darragh MacAnthony to suggest that he gets in touch with you as you'll be able to tell him where it's going wrong!
  5. 7.45 kick off. See you at the ABAX for the return of CMS.
  6. If you're going to have a go then at least read the replies: Did you not read #606 or #639 "Just to clarify my position on this. I support what's going on because it keeps the club going and that's the only way that we can get back into the EL. I do not support the direction that we've been going in during 2014 & now 2015." It is the best track in the country with some of the best facilities which is why it should be at the top level of British Speedway. Not being keen about being in the PL again (although to be fair, Lakeside and Belle Vue turning up twice isn't appealing either) is nothing like wanting the club to close.
  7. That was an afterthought wasn't it? I thought you'd answer the question rather than add an extra line to your post do deflect attention from the question? Anyway don't bother: PETERBOROUGH co-owners Rick Frost and Julie Mahoney have given their full backing to the club’s survival attempt. While they remain unable to assume hands-on control due to business and family commitments, they are ready to boost the rescue package put together by long-serving co-promoter Trevor Swales and Ged Rathbone. Mahoney added: “I want to place on record my thanks to both the BSPA management committee and those in charge at the Showground for allowing us to reach a position where survival can be achieved. “Trevor and Ged are the only party to have shown a serious interest in keeping Peterborough on track and we very much hope they are successful in doing so. Seems plenty of will all round to me
  8. How can I miss it, you never shut up about it. I've missed the the fact that Rick doesn't have the will though, where did it say that?
  9. No point in saying anything to you though, you're on a one-way street with blinkers on . After last week's announcement I am wondering though what Rick and Julie's strategy is with getting themselves and Readypower involved again because you said: Tsunami (BSF) said, on 25 Jan 2014 - 2:32 PM: Ha Ha. And i'm the one supposed to be 'putting the boot into' Frost. I have a lot of respect for Rick but speedway was just not for him. Funnily enough posted as you were poking your nose in on the Peterborough thread last close season. So a question then as you like discussion: What have Rathbone and Swales got that Rick didn't have?
  10. Well that'll get Tsunami reaching for his Ladybird Illustrated Dictionary if nothing else
  11. You've not missed anything apart from people getting ahead of themselves! Swales said: “We were not in a position to declare we would run at the annual meeting and we now have the next few days in which to get there. “We remain hopeful that we can hit our target and must stress again that we will not consider running if we fall short.
  12. All too technical for me Tel, I don't do rules and averages. It was only a response to the resident loony!
  13. Also, why would we offload North (if we have) and then pay a loan fee?
  14. Well that'd make Julie spit her cocoa out if nothing else
  15. What they need is cash, it matters not where it comes from. As Mick Bratley said: "It has always concerned me that an inordinately high percentage of season ticket holders never had a Peterborough post code" I don't know if that's changed but it suggests that a wider net is needed although I'd imagine that in your eyes that if you haven't put into this specific exercise then keep quiet is what you're saying, no matter how many years you've attended and put into the coffers at the EoES? Just checked my posts on this (first page anyway) and can't see too much in the way of advice, Haven't even demanded to know how much Ged & Trevor are putting in because that doesn't bother me. Someone's got to do the work and organising. One person's keyboard promoter is just another's fan with an opinion as stevebrum would say! (the opinion bit) As it's the season of goodwill and all of that, and you've had an unhealthy interest in Peterborough affairs for sometime now, you could put in for all three of us from your misers hoard. In fact you do remind me of Private James Frazer. Pray God you don't actually get to say "We're Doomed! Apologies for continually replying. I have you on ignore but you post so much guff that you invariably get quoted and it's impossible avoid your posts To be fair though "After opening Newcastle up in 1997, signing up a few GP standard Danes, Winning the PL and joint winners the year after, and launching and running the Gems team" if true, is an impressive list of second teir success. Would have thought that the new upcoming Sky Elite League would have been the ideal platform for your talents before bailing out?
  16. As I've no idea who you are I'll take your word for it although self praise really is no recommendation; bcd and myself are both successful on planet earth, have you ever visited? If you're that successful then you could phone Trevor & Ged while you're here, you're promoting skills will be invaluable for our last push towards survival.
  17. Thought the dreamers from another world amongst us had already agreed that position
  18. So someone fails for a second time, bails out at half-time and leaves the club at rock bottom. What sort of nice comment are you looking for?
  19. Did you not read #606 "Just to clarify my position on this. I support what's going on because it keeps the club going and that's the only way that we can get back into the EL. I do not support the direction that we've been going in during 2014 & now 2015." 20. That's not enough for Tsunami! You have to offer to pay double on entry, buy 5 programmes, come up with useful suggestions to keep your club running and also say how you are going to fund those ideas and when? That's what being a true fan is all about. Just turning up on a regular basis for years and paying the basics through all of that time just isn't good enough is it? It's all those fans fault you know, and even more so if it really ends in tears this time.
  21. It'd be good if each track had to pay the BSPA a 40k supporters funded registration fee each season, then we'd see how much support is out there? We'd be down to a Norfolk hand of tracks before you could say Good old George.
