  1. Doesn't help when, most of the time, you're 4th of 4 going into the first turn.
  2. He's not and there's still work to do to for Hans on those points. I said at the start of the season that a top 8 finish would be a good result but the majority of the red and black brigade had him down for the title. Previous GP stats did not support that optimism. I'm sure that Hans is aware of what's needed and will work to achieve it.
  3. Slightly unsympathetic to say the least. Unusual for an Aussie Best of the night for me!
  4. even you're struggling for a positive so that shows how bad we were
  5. 1: Lee Richardson:....0-1-0-1-2.....= 4 (we had brits with a similar record on Saturday) You win with the history lesson but I won on the day. The first race set the tone for GB as Rico sat there in a good position on turn one as the other three went by. Having said that, Harris and Nicholls were pants and that's where our main points should have come from.
  6. Just tried to find it on the BBC site, couldn't see it so sent "The biggest motorsport event in the UK was the British Speedway GP at the Millennium Stadium. We had a British winner in front of 40,000+ fans. More worthy of the front page than Massa, Rossi etc IMO. I'm not sure if it's there but it's buried if it is? That's poor!"
  7. Stomach upset Pedersen bombed out (literally) (didn't mention it?) as well, excellent
  8. Sounds good to me The Alwalton Thursday night shirker nowhere, good choice
  9. just what you need with this weather. It'll be around 40,000 but spread out to look more. Keith Huewen will tell us numerous times that the event gets bigger every year
  10. Nothing wrong with attitude unless you're Ginger or Hans Andersen.
  11. Too early to say that but he's looking average at the moment amongst the quality of the GP field. He can't make consistent starts, his equipment is not up to his usual high standard and he's finding himself in the wrong place at the wrong time on track. It's going to take something special to make up the ground he's given to those above him on the leader board.
  12. Jeez it was a throwaway comment made in Alan Partridge style.
  13. Winner Jason Crump second Hans Andersen third Chris Harris fourth Nicki Pedersen
  14. I had £5 on Bomber not making a start all series so perhaps that spooked them
  15. Why is betting suspended on Bomber on Skybet
