1: Lee Richardson:....0-1-0-1-2.....= 4 (we had brits with a similar record on Saturday)
You win with the history lesson but I won on the day. The first race set the tone for GB as Rico sat there in a good position on turn one as the other three went by.
Having said that, Harris and Nicholls were pants and that's where our main points should have come from.
Just tried to find it on the BBC site, couldn't see it
so sent "The biggest motorsport event in the UK was the British Speedway GP at the Millennium Stadium. We had a British winner in front of 40,000+ fans. More worthy of the front page than Massa, Rossi etc IMO. I'm not sure if it's there but it's buried if it is? That's poor!"
just what you need with this weather.
It'll be around 40,000 but spread out to look more. Keith Huewen will tell us numerous times that the event gets bigger every year
Too early to say that but he's looking average at the moment amongst the quality of the GP field. He can't make consistent starts, his equipment is not up to his usual high standard and he's finding himself in the wrong place at the wrong time on track. It's going to take something special to make up the ground he's given to those above him on the leader board.
When that's confirmed then that I'll look at it again.
Seeding and leaving him out in the first place was classic mouse by BSI, speedway's GP organisers. Hans has qualified for 2007 but did not for 2006 so I don't believe that he should get anything at the expense of the 4th place person who was there by right: classic mouse!
Mickey mouse but this is speedway after all. Let Smiler explain it because BSI knew best after all - it's a situation of their own making if it happens
The amount of people who think that Crump is calling it a day at the end of the season is quite astounding. Crump has two titles, soon to be 3 after 2007, and Hans has not been able to hack it over a full series. He is a threat but the question mark is still there
