I know you don't spell "special" with a "ho"! We're not educating them, we're luring them in! To those who can't spell, it won't matter. They'll just come and see what's special. But there are numerous clever dicks who will feel obliged to post and tell us how to spell!

Doesn't seem to have been much of a secret tbh so I wouldn't call anyone who knew that a know it all by any stretch of the imagination.
-
Hence if riders don't hit the ground running or get there pretty quickly then there can't be any fannying about, as is traditionally Panthers strategy until it's too late, although Rathbone does seem a bit more pro-active than those who preceded him. Would have been better to stick last year though but that's a different story. If we get it wrong this year then those soon to be announced record season ticket sales will be needed at the end of July.
-
What bit of "No team changes will be permitted in either league after July 31." don't you understand?
-
They've got 3 months tops so no pressure.
-
It's been a management team for years now, the blame is shared equally so as to be non specific.
-
Unfortunately he fell for a lot of that in 5 years, hence a lot of expense and empty trophy cabinet despite everything initially (after he'd balanced the books to be fair) being in place for success. It doesn't matter what MH told him, RF only had to search the ET website for a bit of background information on what happens during such a tenure.. Basic stuff really to save a similar article, and almost disaster yet again, a few months later!
-
Point is what was Frost doing letting him in in the first place. Everyone else knew how it would end, again .....
-
We did when the supremo was in post. You could hardly see to stand up for the National Anthem.
-
So much for the drip feed. The only thing to fill the next 3 months news is admission price, season ticket value and working out a figure for the annual increase in sales. "Lots" is always the safest bet! edit: Oh forgot, and drivel (banter as they like to call it!) from Suffolk mainly

What was decided weeks ago.

You and taps smelling the diesel and eating dung before polluting our thread is just another drawback of choosing the northern championship for 2017.
-
Ever tried online scrabble?
-
Pretty sure it's virtually all sorted now anyway. Just a question of whether it's a big splash or drip feed to maintain interest. The latter of course is the sensible option despite more teams and out of bounds posts on here to irritate and for Rathbone and collective to chuckle at.
-
It's a decade of potless well deserved nervousness for the longer term attendees. Thanks for that. The day would not be complete without the mention of someone out of bounds due to Poland and Sunday
-
And there it is
-
Exaggerated maybe but If you read his other post then you'd get the drift.

Running costs and time will not be a lot different under your "sustainable at that point" model. You'll have lost more fans and not attracted replacements. Solution: what else can we cut? I'm not sure what your future looks like but I don't think any want to see your silly solution, just some movement in the other direction for a real positive message rather than the usual platitudes at this time of year.
-
Not until dates are announced. If there was a big enough carrot then all things are negotiable. We still ride when we're allowed and Sunday will probably turn out to be as meaningful as Elite, although if that's what it is then I suspect the balance will just be in favour of the alleged popular slot.
-
Good luck with selling that progressive vision of the future.
-
That's what we hear every year though. It never bottoms out though does it. You'll be saying the same thing next year when the next ineffective cost cutting measures in the name of sustainability are rumoured.
-
Hopefully some bozo misunderstood what they heard but it looks like drop it out there and test the reaction before we confirm the mistake.
-
If they were that bothered about that they'd put real effort in instead of annual tinkering to theoretically save costs. The progress snowball started down the wrong side of the hill years ago, it's got no brakes and has yet to hit the bottom. Having said that, what's your definition of right direction?
-
It interprets into a good reason to do something else so perfectly clear if implemented.
-
The remaining hardcore will turn up irrespective of the price for the race to the bottom. Problem being that if any of those lose interest or can no longer attend for whatever reason then it's unlikely that anybody new has come on board to fill the void. Rather than trying to turn that around, their default setting each year now is water down the product and cross their fingers.
