  1. The car park charge was brought in for the club's Ben Fund contribution if my memory serves me right, that's before it got confused with general running costs.
  2. But if they don't put bums on seats but foreigners do then that's business.
  3. With the precedent being set (which will not last long IMO and was more due to the need to put out the fire of another hammering from Newcastle) then Morris and NBJ should be given the same courtesy tomorrow. NBJ has been a disappointment but was still risking his life for the club if that's part of the criteria. Morris is ok but has suffered because of others deficiences.
  4. Knew I'd made the right choice. We need a post by the resident looney to bring us back on theme.
  5. Oh I see, it's a strategic meeting of like minds. I'll never get the hang of Tinternet
  6. It's good to know that if the resident looney goes AWOL then we've got a ready made replacement who's not averse to posting tripe from their tractor cab
  7. I'd go a different way, back from where we came. But that's a different argument. Panthers are joint 3rd in the PL and only really being undone by not providing a home track/advantage that would make Rob Lyon consider his future in the sport. The three home losses have done the damage although we'd probably got turned over anyway against the stronger sides. I'm traditionally the negative one so get a grip people.
  8. You're the sort of person who'd go to Lakeside on a regular basis and be surprised each time.
  9. That's a bit harsh. They turn up to do the best they can. It's not their fault that the task that the management team sets them is unrealistic. Any Panthers supporter should be used to that over the last decade. Any rider sitting at tapes wants to win the race don't they so what's to be ashamed about.
  10. Get the resisident looney on the management team asap - only joking! Wouldn't want anyone from the management team reading that to divert attention from re-jigging the current 7 for the weekend.
  11. My money's on him saying that he didn't go in the end and then turning up Friday
  12. Lovely Friday night for speedway, we used to do that regularly once upon a time.
  13. That's the bottom line. You can have as much shale as you like, have as many spare bikes as your van will hold and be read the riot act regularly by the management collective, but if you're out of your depth and not quick enough then none of that will make the slightest bit of difference.
  14. Both companies struggling to find their place and recover former glories - clever choice
  15. You're thinking of a previous management collective and mouthpiece.
