Very sad to see that Iwade can no longer host a round, as it was always one of my favourite meetings of the season.

He's riding and scoring well in the Amateur Meetings at Scunthorpe, so MAYBE a comeback is in his mind. Would be a good signing if he did.

Total waste of time and money IMO, although I must admit that it does have a good following, and is usually quite a good money spinner forthose staging it. I've been a few times at Wimbledon, and also seen a couple of meetings at Swaffham, but it seems so difficult understanding what positionsthe car are in. But as I say, that's just my opinion.

You'll find some NL riders racing in the excellent Scunthorpe Winter Championship, and they suffer few rain-offs really. Apart from Mildenhall that was mentioned by ivanhoward, King's Lynn and Boston have been known to run meetings during December and Januarymany moons ago. I know of people who travel up from Kent to see the Scunthorpe Amateur Meetings, and also an Edinburgh fan that goes to them too, so I think there would be a certain level of support for such a venture. I think it's a great idea, and would get my support on the terraces.

Yeah, mine arrived on time. I can understand why so many like being able to get their mag on line. Personally I prefer to have the publication in my hands, in the same way I prefer the feel of a book as apposed to a Kindle, although once again of course they have there advantages too. So you pays your money and takes your choice, and mine is to receive the printed document.

Agree with all you say other than I think Ben needs to forget about the NL now, and see if he can stand on his own two feet, which I'm sure he can. Personally I think it would do him the world of good to move to a track other than Rye House, as he's already gained a lot of experience on that particular circuit. Just my opinion, and I might be wrong, but that's what I feel.

What on earth would Kasper Lykke learn from riding in the National League? He's make good strides forward at a higher level already, and doesn't need the National League, where he could pick up an injury which would then badly affect his senior club. As for Simon Lambert, he's had a terrible season caused by circumstances beyond his control. He's already proved that he's a more than capable Premier League rider, and other than as a short early season stint to reboot his confidence, he's got nothing to gain by riding in the National League. I see that Ben Morley gets named in most peoples team for next year, but the lad deserves for somebody to give him an extended run in the Premier League. He's served his time in the National League, and done it proud, but unless he's given a chance to move forward, he's going to get stale, and finish up as a virtual nobody, and he deserves better than that.

My wife and I can't get back to Mildenhall again this season, and the likelihood of us being able to get along to West Row next year until May, means that our re-admission tickets will be out of date. As we left the stadium, two punters were being given their money back at the turnstiles, so I made the same request, but was told that there was no cash available at that location. That in itself was a lie, as I saw some £20 notes in a cash box that one of the ladies was closing. When I asked why the previous two people were given a cash refund, yet we were being refused, we were told that they couldn't get back to any of the next three meetings (i.e. possibly two this year, and the opening meeting of 2014). We pointed out that we couldn't either, which is true, so why couldn't we be afforded the same treatment. “Oh, they came over from Holland” we were told, so obviously with tongue in cheek, I said that we live in Switzerland, but all to no avail. So if any person in an official management capacity at Mildenhall Speedway is reading this, would you please advise me as to how to get a full refund please, because what happened at the turnstiles was out of order, you can't have one rule for one, and not another. Mildenhall v Isle of Wight this coming Wednesday, and as King's Lynn are at home to Dudley, I'll have to forgo my rain-off ticket from this afternoon. If Mildenhall reach the final, it has now been confirmed that it will take place on Saturday evening (I can't make that one with my ticket either). The MDL Final is now a one-leg affair at Coventry this Friday. What a chaotic end to the season!

No excuses for next Sunday then Derek, as your daughter will be one week into her 21st year by then!! I'm a bit confused as to how Stoke get to ride at home against Mildenhall next Sunday, unless the Fen Tigers fail to reach the KOC Final. Surely the Suffolk side should then be racing the final on their home race day, and not riding away against a Saturday night club.
