  1. Indeed Martin, full marks for everything Mildenhall did today Good to catch up with you again today, plus of course Graham 'R' who put in a faultless performance today
  2. My wife and I can't get back to Mildenhall again this season, and the likelihood of us being able to get along to West Row next year until May, means that our re-admission tickets will be out of date. As we left the stadium, two punters were being given their money back at the turnstiles, so I made the same request, but was told that there was no cash available at that location. That in itself was a lie, as I saw some £20 notes in a cash box that one of the ladies was closing. When I asked why the previous two people were given a cash refund, yet we were being refused, we were told that they couldn't get back to any of the next three meetings (i.e. possibly two this year, and the opening meeting of 2014). We pointed out that we couldn't either, which is true, so why couldn't we be afforded the same treatment. “Oh, they came over from Holland” we were told, so obviously with tongue in cheek, I said that we live in Switzerland, but all to no avail. So if any person in an official management capacity at Mildenhall Speedway is reading this, would you please advise me as to how to get a full refund please, because what happened at the turnstiles was out of order, you can't have one rule for one, and not another. Mike Moseley
  3. Mildenhall v Isle of Wight this coming Wednesday, and as King's Lynn are at home to Dudley, I'll have to forgo my rain-off ticket from this afternoon. If Mildenhall reach the final, it has now been confirmed that it will take place on Saturday evening (I can't make that one with my ticket either). The MDL Final is now a one-leg affair at Coventry this Friday. What a chaotic end to the season!
  4. No excuses for next Sunday then Derek, as your daughter will be one week into her 21st year by then!! I'm a bit confused as to how Stoke get to ride at home against Mildenhall next Sunday, unless the Fen Tigers fail to reach the KOC Final. Surely the Suffolk side should then be racing the final on their home race day, and not riding away against a Saturday night club.
  5. What happens if Mildenhall beat the IOW this afternoon and progress to the KOC Final, surely Sunday is their home raceday,
  6. Thanks for that Martin. Yes I do try with Facebook, but get in a terrible mess. I can answer a topic okay, but trying to search for something/someone or start something new, then it's the blind leading the blind. As for Twitter, well I won't even go there, I don't have a clue!! Shame really, because I'm missing out on a lot, but I just can't grasp them for some reason.
  7. That's what I was hoping for, but they all seem to have their heads buried in Facebook & Twitter these days, and sadly for me, I just can't grasp those two facilities very well.
  8. Thanks Gustix, but I find these forecasts very inaccurate more often than not. The sun is supposed to be out where I am, but it's black and extremely wet.
  9. Any updates on the weather situation around West Row please? I'm about a 50-minute drive away, and it's pouring with rain, as it was yesterday afternoon.
  10. Hi Ken, I don't have a copy of that programme, but I do know that Andy Griggs was selling them at Rye House last week, so if you contact him if you have his number, then I'm sure your wish will be satisfied. All the Best. Mike
  11. Out of the top draw are all of these reports, and a massive thanks for that. I've never seen any details of Round 2 & 3 of the 125 Championship, do you by any chance have them please? Thanks once again, brilliant stuff. Mike
  12. At least the early call-off has saved me a wasted journey. Sadly I can't make the restaging on the 25th.

  19. Tomorrow sees a feast of speedway on offer at the Norfolk Arena, as the 'Young Stars' set about the business of trying to claw back the 8-points they require from Mildenhall in their quest to reach the National League Play-Off Final. The Suffolk club always put up a strong fight when they cross the border into Norfolk, and with ultimate glory growing ever closer, this meeting could be a lot closer than most think, and is certainly one not to miss. KING'S LYNN: 1) Robert Lambert 2) R/R 3) Darren Mallett 4) Jake Knight 5) Lewis Kerr 6) Shane Waldron 7) Josh Bailey (G) MILDENHALL: 1) Stefan Nielsen 2) R/R 3) Josh Bates 4) Aaron Baseby 5) Daniel Halsey 6) Ryan Terry-Daley (G) 7) TBC Second-half action sees the 'Ligthtning' bring down the curtain in their inaugural season in the Midland Development League, and a fine season they've endured. Although they've failed to reach the Play-Off Final due to the cut-off date having passed, victory over Castleford will put Wayne Dunworth's charges on 16-points, the same as current league leaders Belle Vue, which will be a fine achievement indeed. KING'S LYNN: 1) Andy Mountain 2) TBC 3) Adam Kirby 4) Josh Bailey CASTLEFORD: 1) Jack Kingston 2) Adam Portwood 3) Conor Dwyer 4) Sam Woods Gates open at the Norfolk Arena at 6:30pm. Admission prices: Adults: £10, Concessions: £8, Juniors (12-15 Years Old): £4, Kids under 11: £FREE
  20. Glad to hear that you're back home Bryn, and hope the surgery proves/proved to be successful. I did check last weekend to make sure that the vegetables were being well tended to at the base of the officials box, as I know you care about the well being of the spuds etc., in that location. John Strong did an excellent job in your absence, and everything ran smoothly. Hope to see you at an amateur meeting before the season ends, but I myself have got to have an operation probably before Christmas, and am off to hospital in about 45-minutes time for a CT Scan. Keep well. Mike
  21. They'll surely have to run the outstanding league fixture after the Redcar meeting this Saturday then..................or will they???????
  22. It must be something in the Norfolk air Lorna, because like you, I'm having problems with tiredness today. Quite a lot of that sea mist (or is it fog) about, but nice and dry plus very warm. Expecting a big crowd tonight, especially now that our support team finished their season last week, and we now take centre stage for the next week or two. Can we pull back the 22-points, well I'm going to be positive and say yes, well there's little point in being negative!!
