  1. If Zach does not return I can’t see Bowes being at Poole. No Zach I think we would go for another rider with a slightly higher average
  2. Tobias didn’t have many fixture clashes over the past 2 years with his Danish fixtures.
  3. Commiserations to Glasgow, what a fight they put up and took it the wire. Bomber was on another level tonight apart from heat 16. Well done to the Pirates. The meeting swung in a different direction during the night but Poole are the 2025 league champions. Fourth time in five years.
  4. With 2026 in mind. Clearly Glasgow are going to have to off load at least 2 of their top 5 for next season to get anywhere decent under the 40 point limit (if that stays) this would enable them to get at least one strong reserve. Who can you see depart for 2026?
  5. Thoughts with the supporters injured, speedway isn’t important right now. Watching the live Feed Allen picked up and lifted straight into pit gate fence, coming out of turn 4 at full speed with the bike hitting the fence so hard, it lifted and went over into the crowd from what I could see.
  6. Yep Middlo said that on BSN last night, Matt said he wont be there as needs to return to France.
  7. Hope Lawson will be back for this meeting, will Ritchings be fit. Last seen leaving the Whoppa on Sunday with ice on his wrist after a very heavy fall.
  8. Agree he has put a point on his rolling average, watching him every week I feel he is getting stale on the Poole track. 9 times out of 10 if he is behind just follows the rider in front line for line, no attempt to even try and overtake. BV suits him well and if he wants to progress maybe a full time team in Poland will help him progress. Nothing against zach at all, he’s been a loyal servant but like riders been and gone a fresh challenge may do him good. I don’t also feel another year at Poole he will increase his average anymore, it’s gone up due to mainly been put at 4 most of the season. When it didn’t work out for Kerr at 5 Zach was next in line and that didn’t go well either hence his return to number 4, Anders has held his own at 5 thankfully but this should have been Zach’s big year to push to remain at 1 or 5 all season but hasn’t happened. Argument could be made his average went up due to riding at 4 in the team and not 5. If I went through the 2025 meetings and worked out a percentage of Zach’s heat 13 and 15 appearances, think it may be pretty low, but that’s where he needs and should be, and on that front he hasn’t progressed in 2025. My opinion and everyone is open to theirs, but that is why I don’t think being at Poole in 2026 would benefit him or the club.
  9. Agree think it’s time for Zach to move on.
  10. With Ipswich having 2 massive meetings next week im surprised they have allowed the booking
  11. Just realised that after checking the official average, i stand corrected
  12. Pity Masters wasn’t available. Ellis can often go missing on big occasions, let’s hope I’m proved wrong but not confident.
  13. That’s bad news for Poole with no Lawson. Clearly something going on as missed 2 meetings now for Poole. Hope all ok
  14. Think the team as a whole will look a lot more different from my understanding for 2026, very exciting!
  15. Such a shame Glasgow won’t allow a feed, I’m sure many many Poole fans would buy it making the club some decent money.
  16. Think that’s more where none Poole fans on here make statements that aren’t true about Cairns. No Poole fan has criticised him at all, he is 16 and has a massive future. Glad he’s at Poole in 2026! We will have an exciting young team next year that will entertain.
  17. Well done to Redcar for keeping it so close. Packed in for those second and third places to keep the score close. Hard racing at times which is what we want to see in play off speedway. Scott has come of leaps and bounds since last year, fantastic future if he can keep that going. As I said in May and June, come the business end of the season the same riders will let us down when it mattered and they haven’t failed to deliver, all I’m going to say is apart from Lawson, Rowe and Cairs the rest can turn the light off and shut the door on the way out for 2026, far too inconsistent all year. We can go to Redcar and win, but it’s going to be a massive ask.
