Agree, there is no doubt Andy Murray will win after winning Wimbledon and if Tai is in the top ten when announced that will be a great achievement! -

That was one hell of a fight, modern day classic! Groves biggest mistake was losing his gameplan and letting froch turn it into a war which he needed to do, huge respect for groves now though, will go onto big things in boxing no doubt! What a war

If he'd have known he was going to sell all season he would have put it up for sale much sooner than he did to allow maximum time to sell, now we could end up with no speedway at all. Machin admits today the fans are edgy and would like to know what is happening but he just gave same lines he gave weeks ago ! Did not enlighten us with any sort of hints.

I understand that no doubt at all, but might be just making numbers up in premier league next season if it drags on too long ! I'd have thought Machin would have wanted it sorting much quicker, or was it a case of see if he could get his way at AGM it didn't go to plan so now definately wants to sell up.

I would hope if they think very much of the fans that it would be today, so fans know to get saving for season ticket and so we know where club stands ! the silence was expected upto AGM but now the time is to tell us what is going on!

Seems like an ok Speedway AGM and looks like Sheffield will be at the tapes in 2014, cant wait and for my monday night trips to Belle Vue Speedway

I like the idea but it could be poorly executed. My way of allocating these riders would be like NFL draft system, bottom team from last season gets first pick and so on until filled number 6 spot and then same again to fill number 7 spot. I would hope this is in anyway but all riders get paid same and travel expenses covered by the club for who they choose. For me that would be acceptable and of course protect their heats and they come in for top 5 when they retire out of meeting injured. This idea could be good if done right but it never is with BSPA It looks like Sheffield will be at the tapes next season and looking forward to my trips to Belle Vue also, roll on 2014. Not perfect this AGM but a tad better. -

I have been to ice hockey a few times since speedway season ended and twice i have seen Sheffield Steelers lose but enjoyed the whole night including the matches and all for same price as speedway, until speedway can offer more for money then it will continue to struggle to compete with other sports, nights eating out with family etc I love speedway but is a lot of money for not very much and of course we all know about meetings dragging on, tractor racing etc -
well he says he is looking forward to enjoying thursday nights mingling with friends and enjoying the speedway with no worries, my bet is he has a buyer and it all needs confirming at AGM before release the news.

In an ideal world we all want that but if things carry on as they are just watch track after track close and then we have no speedway at all !
