So what's the difference between that situation and take for example, Scunthorpe? They manage it.

Somerset Cases Rebels V Edinburgh 11/06
Najjer replied to Starman2006's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
What rubbish - it has been sunny since about 10 o'clock all day, so I'd say the track will be in very good condition. Anyway, the covers would of been on when it was raining -

Thank you for your kind words and nice to know you hold me in such high regard - shame the feeling isn't mutual eh? -

In his interview he said he had been feeling under the weather this week and a recent busy schedule had taken its toll by the time last night came around. I heard from various people before the meeting too he picked up an injury earlier in the week riding somewhere, but he didn't mention that in his interview. -

I'd say you've summed it up pretty well, even with Doyley feeling 'it' the Rockets were a complete embaressment Mellgren apart, and were completely shown up by the Rebels. Is that really Robert Mear riding for Rye House? I remember him coming here a few seasons back and looking a real handful, he was absolute garbage tonight - a pale shadow of his former self. Some pretty good racing tonight, Morris and Mellgren's race was I'd say the pick of the lot. -

Don't be so inept Tsunami, I thought even you would get the jist of that - that you are not more important than anyone else, and not meaning that your opinion doesn't count. Everyone has a right to be heard, but with your patronising and judgemental remarks, whether anyone chooses to listen to you is a different matter. -

Out of interest how many points did you expect Alex to score? You said in an earlier posting you expected more - he scored 8 points according to the updates site, I'd say he more than did his job wouldn't you? -

Assuming we have no more rain, we should win and win well. -

Disappointing not to get at least a point from this, Another match where we've come so close yet again and yet so far - isn't that 5 matches now we've lost by 7/8 points? Talk about tarring people with the same brush. How patronising and judgemental, as per normal taking the moral high ground when your opinion counts for no more than anyone else's. -

The reason given was that because he got injured during their P+P - which seems ridiculous if you ask me. -

Should of excluded Tai and I think it was Vaculik on the outside from memory. He fell completely on his own before Tai went through Pedersen like a steam train. -

It's been dry since half 7... Forget the air fence fund, it's track covers that we need!! -

Been absolutely fine all day with the sun out, but has just started to drizzle ever so slightly. Doesn't look like it will come to much as the sun is still trying to show through. Not that it will matter anyway, as now the rain has started the track covers can be pulled on and we will go racing at half 7 .... Oh no, wait a minute.... -

Why? Proctor's and Anderson's won't change - neither would Kling's for that matter. I'd imagine there could be a pretty decent increase for Kurtz, so surely you will be worse off?

Give me strength - there couldn't of been a more true word come out of his mouth when the Scorpions fans started the "sort the track out" after heat 3.. and to which he replied "Sorry mate but it seems okay for Somerset." You could tell he was angry and rightly so, and actually made the afternoon even more enjoyable

Who cares about the League Cup when you're on the road to League glory with a 19 point away win at the reigning champions OHHHHHH!

Just got home after an awesome day out, certainly well worth the 7 hour or so round trip - possibly the most awesome performance I've ever witnessed from a Somerset team, just outstanding throughout. Hard to pick out individual moments but Grajczonek and Doyle going round the fence to go from a 1-5 to a 5-1 in heat 13 was a favourite, as well as Stefan blasting round the outside out of turn 2. Kyle and Alex completely solid and well worth their points and Nick with a seemingly typical Nick Morris all action show on his return. Tom chipped in valuably early on and set us right on the way from the opener - a magic all round display from the Rebels. I thought the promoter on the mic was very good tbh and good value for entertainment - the comment about playing music 'as its not a funeral yet' And Inparticular 'give the rebels a clap, as we're crap' was another favourite
