He is obviously lucky the rules will be changed...cos what was he going to do before it was decided they would change. Team building doesn't seem his forte.
So did we find out who is better....morris or kurtz??
Morris is currently the best according to averages and races met....but I think by the end of next season kurtz will have the edge.
In a couple of years times.. Jack Holder will to top aussie
Only ever done it a few times...but if i ever took anyone new..it was never to my home track where the racing could very often be boring and at that time not very good for seating....I always took them somewhere else that had good seating and very well lit track...even though the racing would often be a little boring at times too.
Even at 28 pound it's still better value for money....there is more 28 minutes racing. Speedway is about a pound a minute, but like you say....sometimes there is a good meeting and it seems worth it.
Good job we don't pay a pound a minute for other forms of entertainment.
I can go to watch a British superbike round Friday Saturday and Sunday...all the practice, qualifying races and all the support races from 8 am to 6 pm all 3 days for 37 quid.
Speedway isn't expensive..but value for money it's poor.
If it's meant to be a family sport....why do hardly any of the oldies...which is most of those there...not have their grandchildren with them??? A few do maybe but not many.
At the moment it's not really it's not really trying to be either....
Moto 3 is awsome....loads of young kids going for it . I now focus more on road racing than speedway...shame as speedway always used to come first...Sadly not anymore.
I don't have any issues with Julian Ryder or James Whitham or anyone that does moto gp or superbikes....its just those 2 on the speedway that I don't like.
