Hancock should be made an example of, the sport is bigger than any one rider.
-
which ever way you look at it someone somewhere has lost a lot of money for that GP..
-
Hancock has made a joke out of the sport, Melbourne was half empty on Saturday as it is how many will return and just as importantly how many new faces will Saturday have deterred? Hancock walking out has put the GP Series in a situation that could have massive knock on effects, some obvious and some not so, but him walking out opens the door to any rider who deems the track slightly unfit now has a get out of jail card, or for that matter any small reason not to ride in a GP, then the financial implications will hit the both the organisers and the sport. Poor show from which ever way one wants to look at it.

I thought Rossitor said live on Sky that it was all systems go?
-
How about they start with looking at the various rules they have brought in over the years that have made riding more expensive, tyre deflectors and exhausts for starters?..

Belle Vue Vs Wolves, Grand Final 2nd Leg, 5/10/16...
Odds On replied to Col's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Jeez, remind exactly what Tai has done here as some of you think he has committed the cardinal sin of showing some character and giving some back. Craig Boyce was cheered and loved by thousands for his one punch on a fellow rider, yet Tai makes a few hand gestures and calls people a few names. -
Holder to be the new no 1.

So the guy is called all and sundry all night and then gives a little bit back, no one has been harmed and I bet if he ever signs for the Aces he'll be the Peoples Poet. -
A legend and a true gentlemen.

Describe the words winners this year, if rumours are true then that surely isn't the case? -
Wimbledon Stadium: Some Important News
Odds On replied to Parsloes 1928 nearly's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
The stadium is and was always sadly destined for bigger and better things, speedway was always reliant on the graft and money of the likes of the greyhound and football fraternity, sadly only one would to a degree would work with them in this respect and the end result is a football stadium. Speedway had little or no chance of continuing. -
The sport needs something radical, perhaps now is the time to have independent committee running the sport?
-
Poole fans, you really need to wake up and smell the coffee, if you cannot see that this is another nail in the speedway coffin then you are more deluded than I feared.
-
once again the sport nails another nail in the coffin, wake up Poole and the rest of the BSPA you are killing our sport.
-
having been to quite a few meetings this season, one thing I have noticed is that certain riders just look too quick. I know there was allegedly reports in years gone by that "certain" riders used to use model aeroplane fuel, tamper with carbs etc etc...was just wondering what the latest go faster quirk is.
-
so now there should be no more excuses no more hold ups and like Alun Rossiter said live on Sky, new stadium for the beginning of the 2017 season.
-
the testers are ruthless, they answer to no one and will get their individual eventually, sports communities are small worlds which in turn means that there is always someone somewhere who will point the finger...I guess the old saying of nothing to hide then nothing to worry about.
-
any rider or fan who thinks the testing just takes place at the track are in for a shock, the testers have the right to test you anywhere at anytime, I know of a sportsman who they visited at his home.
-
sounds encouraging but the proof will be in the pudding, just hope its not another false dawn.
-
does he get on with Rossitor?
-
Wolves have clearly broken the rules, its plain for all to see, perhaps you are new to the sport?...take a look at the rule book, page 7 second paragraph down, I would copy and paste but not computer savvie.

Swindon 2016 - A New Era Starts...we Thought..
Odds On replied to dump that clutch's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
The biggest problem to me is the team manager, he put together a team where he could be one of the boys and relive his youth as opposed to building a title contending team.
