Totally. We're always at the back of the queue.

It does. As I said earlier, at Peterborough you can be spinning for almost the whole lap - it's a full throttle circuit and it's shape/banking make that essential. I've used tyres with more wear on than Basso's had (Barum and Mitas) and they didn't puncture. His only got a hole like that on bend 3 because he was riding it flat having punctured on bends 1 and 2. They are clearly not up to the job in hand. If they continue to have to use Anlas then they need 2 new tyres each for each meeting at Peterborough as a minimum. The engine issue will not be solved whilst Poland rule the roost. Does anyone else recognise that we seem to be having more injuries now than ever, even with air fences and a lot happen in Poland. The violent lifting should simply not be happening but it needs the FIM to take charge over these machines. Already we have tracks having to be bald/slick otherwise riders can't cope. Watching speedway from years ago there were some really rough and bumpy tracks but they got on with it and coped OK and still raced each other. It's the cart driving the horse. Shame.

There have been at Peterborough all this season at least.

The picture of basso's tyre to me shows they are of poor quality. The edge he was using was clearly worn but that doesn't mean a whole piece of the tyre should break away from the centre as it seems to have done.

Nicholls had the win in ht 9 but his puncture on the 3rd bend made his exit from 4th slow and Tobi got by. He was fuming afterwards! The tyres are spinning for most of the lap at Peterborough and get too hot. Never had an issue with Mitas.

I don't think the change in the track surface has helped the Panthers. Gate and go was never going to help them and I think the clay surface makes for worse racing. Luckily Harris' gating has been better this year and he has been a shining light. Injuries haven't helped.

That's exactly right, riders are there to earn money.
-
Exactly as predicted on the forecast.

I get that, but rain can suddenly disappear off that radar - it doesn't mean all that rain travels in the same direction for ever more. I guess the best test is standing outside with no hat.
-
No, I have had a couple of issues with that before - didn't travel when I should have, so just stick to the one source now.

Always best to try and avoid hitting any fence. Think Lynn have that too? -

Really pleased that Nilsson got through, great to see an underdog make it by rights. Poles shown up again outside of Poland, British tracks are not just flat-out and slick. -
Odsal was a great venue but I think the roof is such a big ticket item in Cardiff's favour - maybe a 100m track would fit into the Centre Court at Wimbledon

Oh we drove and parked 10 minutes walk away. Plenty of food choices on the walk in and home in and hour and a half as it was right near the main road.
-
Sorry but I agree with OP, it is wholly relevant. It is the experience. Tension and exciting speedway is not all about the fastest guy missing the start.
-
Nicholls is also ok at the moment as he rode for Oxford last night. The call off will have been due to rider availability I expect.

To get 80k there must have been some serious promotion - but again Wembley is not in the best of areas, a bit like the NSS. Now Tottenham stadium I was impressed with when I went there to see GnR.
-
Stuff the moaners, Dan shows the throttle merchants how to ride, didn't see him jumping about everywhere, that's skill.

Pickering was pony at Ipswich last night but did fall in his third ride, although didn't appear injured at all and rode off again. -
Ipswich v King's Lynn 11 August

Nice bit of afters between Tungate and Lawson after ht15 - Lawson was trying to slow it down to allow worral through, nothing wrong with that in my view, didn't look dangerous but added some spice -
