That must be won at least once a month isn't it. -
Agree everything is going up,seems people are even happy paying double for a holiday in the UK to what they have paid before.Yet people worry about an extra £1.

Just seen the new Government relaxation of fans into sports stadiums on May 17th.So as i would understand it Lynn has a capacity of 8000 i think which is a small outdoor stadium(i assume). We would be allowed 50% of capacity or 4000 whichever is the lower,so 4000 on both counts for that then. This would be plenty for speedway at Lynn anyway. What i don't understand with the Government is for big stadiums you are allowed less people on percentages. So why would you allow more people bunched in at speedway than you would at say a football match. -
Allen in for Kinsley, with Bridger as a 1 star rider under new star rider rules drafted up from D.Bates

King's Lynn have done well not to put up admission prices too much in recent times i think.Pretty sure it was £17 for adults in 2015.So as of now that is only a £1 increase in 5 years.Whether you think the sport is more inferior now or not that has been a very low increase over 5 years. -
Why isn't Vissing riding. Is it the same issue?

There will probably be limited tickets for this match according to Allitt. How limited he didn't say. Below is taken from the Government website:If everything is going according to their easing of the lockdown this should happen from May 17th. The government will also allow some larger performances and sporting events in indoor venues with a capacity of 1,000 people or half-full (whichever is a lower number), and in outdoor venues with a capacity of 4,000 people or half-full (whichever is a lower number). In the largest outdoor seated venues, where crowds can be spread out, up to 10,000 people will be able to attend (or a quarter-full, whichever is lower). -

Personally i think some need to be held back to be sold on the night. Many of the crowds at speedway are made up of the older generation and not all of those like to buy things online. This could put those people off going, something speedway doesn't need. -

Can't see advance ticketing being a problem, but also can't see buying a ticket on the day being a problem neither.Isn't it 25% of capacity allowed in,which would be just over 2000 people. When was the last time we had that at Lynn, and quite frankly Ipswich aren't that a bigger draw any more -
In football Liverpool have certainly lowered their standards

Does it have to be on a Monday or Thursday? -
What was his job before, been at Lynn for a few years in some capacity.I know he was involved in gaining sponsorship etc.
-
People would be delusional, especially considering the promotion hasn't claimed they persuaded him to change his mind.
-
Are you sure about the other 5 attracting riders, they all seem to have the same sort of riders that normally ride here. The only surprise for me is Holder, thought he may have dropped the UK.Crump no surprise really as he was over anyway. I too am upset that we haven't used up the points limit, should have Lawson for Proctor to make us more competitive. You can't see Allitt daring to do that he don't seem to like to get into situations where it may cause a confrontation.
-
Think he may had done had Riss not changed his mind.Would still have had Lawson over Proctor in a heartbeat. I think for this year the promotion have a bit of an excuse in attracting riders to this country with the Polish rule and the ongoing pandemic. But in previous years they didn't have that as an excuse.
-
Riss confirmed then. The side has a bit of a better look about it but still needed to use up the points limit which they fall well under.

I think you may end up with Eric Riss as your final signing, just a feeling i have. -
Agree, should have been Lawson instead of Proctor as well imo.
-
Final announcement in the morning.Lynn tweeted we think you'll like this one with a smiley.Surely it can't be Lawson tweeting that. I'm sticking my neck out for Riss now, after all didn't the manager of his German/Polish team say they won't be starting the league when they want them too due to the pandemic.

This is part of a quote put up from dandelion, this was taken from Klindt's Swedish club's website. Thus, there is only one driver that we do not have room for. However, this has been resolved a bit by itself for the time being as Nikolai Klindt for personal reasons will probably not be available to us from the start of the season and thus is placed outside the registered squad. Nikolai is in the middle of a divorce and has children, a house and an ex-wife in England, which means that he needs to focus on being able to be close to his children and since the pandemic currently creates uncertainty about travel, we have together with Nikolai made this decision. He will therefore start the season in Ipswich in the British league if this starts. This to me sounds he should start in Ipswich.Would he really want to spend the season away from his kids, and with all the personal stuff he needs to resolve here in England would it be sensible to spend months locked up in Poland.Common sense to me would be to do both but if travel restrictions are put in place just do the UK.
-
Why would Klindt be missing? The report says he will be riding for Ipswich and being based in the UK as he is going through a divorce. This is what thousands of people go through every year unfortunately especially this past year i would assume. It will do him good to get back on a bike and do his job, just like most others who go through the same situation. There is no suggestion to say he will be absent from riding for Ipswich.

A Brit would be employed first if they got rid of Proctor Unsure on the travel restrictions but thought sportsmen could travel with tests etc.If they can't then that would be a blow to all clubs as many have riders riding elsewhere in Europe too.
