  1. Bugger the forecast looked ok the last time i checked at about 1pm.But now some weather sites have light rain, some a heavy shower and some no rain at all.Who to believe.
  2. Why would that cheer up the we shouldn't have a facility brigade,Poole are still getting a facility are they not?
  3. Oh right, didn't realise that's how it worked.Just thought as he signed for Scunthorpe first they had first dibs.
  4. Would think Bailey would be riding for Scunthorpe.
  5. I do think the 1-6 do have improvement in them. But for young Josh i really think he should spend another season in the championship before he makes the step up to the PL.He really has got to improve his gating,he is constantly 10m or more behind going into the 1st bend.
  6. They did say they wanted him to share the no7 birth. Before the season i did say i felt we should have tried to get as close to the points limit as possible.Being over a point down on that i think is not a good decision. Didn't realise Hume rode for Brum,my bad.
  7. Think Lynn should try and strengthen up at no7 if possible. They have 3.31 to play with.Never seen Hume ride, but he does get some decent scores for Ipswich at times.Maybe he could do a job.Don't think Bailey will score to his average simply because his gating is terrible.
  8. I know riding on grass isn't quite speedway, but if you've seen him on grass you would know he can definately handle a speedway bike. He's been pretty awesome when i have seen him race on grass.Hopefully his girlfriend tells him not score to many points against Lynn unless of course she's changed her allegiance from Lynn to Poole
  9. Well Lynn and Rye renew their rivalries from a few years back.I'm sure there will be plenty of Lynn fans in attendance 1st/2nd bend. After their loss at home tonight i think the Stars can pinch a point, although Branford will be back in the Rye side i assume. Will Bailey be riding as Scunthorpe have a meeting,if not i would try to get Shanes to replace him. Has the adverse camber bends 1/2 gone? Looking forward to returning to Rye House speedway where we have had some good days but also so some very bad ones.Is the fish and chips still up to scratch.
  10. Bet it wasn't a patch on last nights meeting though, was it?But knowing you this would have been the best one because you won
  11. You keep going on about setups.Didn't most of the Poole riders have a meeting there last year with their respective clubs. I knew a rider who used to write setups down for the various tracks he rode at,maybe the Poole riders should do the same
  12. Surely Klindt would have had a share in the 7th tyre,or is that not permitted anymore. Beat me to it.
  13. Think Shovlar is just trying to deflect the attention away from how Poole have been taught a speedway lesson tonight
  14. So it was Poole's set ups and not the track that caused the first 4 races to be poor.So it's Poole's fault again
  15. What about for those that like me have to work until 6pm(sometimes),get home, showered out by about 7pm to the track at about 7.20-25.I would assume there are a few that live further than me that work until 6pm too.Anyway that's besides the point i still believe they should start on time. To me the turnstyle system has to be improved to get people in quicker. The times people wait because they have to let someone go past who has just paid at window 4 before they can pay at windows 1,2,3.The cashiers are sitting idle while people have to let those who have just paid go through the front of the other pay points. Can't they have a door put in one of the big gates at turn 3 or 4 and have people paying say the exact cash at these points to gain entry.Do we need the posh tickets that they have to print out,it may only take a couple of seconds but times that by 1500 people. Semion you said you cant remember waiting for the start in the 70's.My above points were better then, also we rode on a Saturday night and yes crowds were 4 times bigger then. But people were getting there early as not many people had to work on a Saturday until 5/6pm.Now your are probably getting so many people turn up at roughly the same time,as Wednesday is a work day. Maybe something to do with Wright taking him off in ht 7 in my view.
  16. Wont happen next Friday apparently. It will start on time regardless of whether fans are outside or not.
  17. There weren't any sun delays when Betts,Simmo,Lee,Jessup rode because they rode on Saturdays then.We all know the sun never shines on the weekends
  18. People blaming the promotion for long drawn out meetings, isn't it the refs job to move procceedings along
  19. I too would like a 7.30 start.Especially last season when i had to be at work for 21.45.
  20. Exactly what i said over a week ago.Belle Vues gain in Coventry's sad demise. We all know what KB is capable of,and he has some of the fastest equipment around coupled with the vast spaces at the NSS is a recipe for success.Well at home anyway.
  21. They are often watering the grass though 10 minutes before KO . Cant start until 19:45 as advertised, unless they change the advertised start time to 19:30 of course
  22. It's a great racetrack. If every track was like the NSS would more fans come back,i would like to think so. I mentioned about a week ago i thought Bjerre would love the big open spaces of the NSS,Guess on last nights performance that's correct so far.
  23. Or for him to lower it sufficiently to fit in at reserve at Lynn
