Like I've said it's for the referee's to sort out by warning and or fining riders after the race has finished for delaying the start.
-
I just thought it was funny

Excellent

All the starting marshall has to do is invite the rider in gate 1 to move up to the tapes and not until he has, does he then invite the rider in gate 2 to do likewise and so on. If a rider is deemed by the referee to be taking too long to comply he should then be warned by the referee after the race has finished via his team manager that if he does it again he will be fined for delaying the starts.

It's when they have done their messing about and are at rest within a couple of bike lengths of lining up and are waiting for the others to to move up first that I would like stopped. Having a rope 30 meters or so behind them is not going to change things.
-
So you do agree that something needs to change then.
-
Will it stop the persistent I must be last to line up riders waiting for the others to line up. It takes ages when there is more than one such rider in a race.
-
It clearly states in a recent notification to all riders that Starting Marshalls must bring the riders up to the tapes in starting grid order from the inside. I would suggest that in addition to the riders, all Starting Marshalls and referees also need to be made aware of this then hopefully much cleaner starts can be looked forward to.

And Wozniak might be on 5.50 for Leicester.

Is this government ruling no longer in force? I ask this because Jason Doyle is believed to be affected but he surely complies with the requirement to have finished in the top 4 in The Australian Championship having done so in the past 2.

Riders Gardening At The Tapes
barrow boy replied to Phil The Ace's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Totally agree with you regarding raking the starting area etc. and regarding having to wait for a replacement rider perhaps there should not be one if a rider is disqualified for any starting procedure incident. Just remove the offending rider and get on with it. They'll realize then that they will have to do it right in future. -
Riders Gardening At The Tapes

I don't think I've ever seen anyone rake over the starting gate area at Leicester in between races. -
I meant the rewarding of the 4th placed rider with a point for making the final
-
I see that the scoring in the finals are 4-3-2-1. Something that happen in the GPs I reckon.

Peterborough Panthers 2015
barrow boy replied to mudflaps's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Thanks Alan. Is it plus 1.4 on any average from Elite to Premier. I thought it was still plus 60%. -
Peterborough Panthers 2015

Could somebody explain how Robert Lambert's 7.25 starting average has been calculated. -
Thank you.

Do riders BSPA GSA Rolling Averages include bonus points?
-
Yes there is always a pre AGM meeting to determine the agenda but don't forget the Peterborough/Coventry incident a few years back when they believed the Premier to Elite conversion rate was remaining at the agreed 50% only to find out at the AGM that certain promoters/team managers wanted to change it to 70%. This being after they had signed the top 2 BPL riders on 50% of their BPL averages. So it would appear that despite having agreed the agenda at a pre AGM meeting something came up that was not known to all clubs beforehand.

How about each team having a pool of say 3 riders to call on if a replacement rider is required. Teams such as Poole & Swindon who have assets riding elsewhere to use these whenever possible and teams such as Leicester who have no suitable loanees to be allocated riders who are not part of other team's squads who cannot ride for any other teams once used.
