  1. Not sure if the rain is affecting either of these tracks tonight or if its affecting Bet365, but I certainly have Ipswich to win so will be taking them at odds against to win the meeting and filling my pockets with the +2 Handicap. Will also be taking Sheffield at +6 with a small amount on the draw int he outright at 14/1 I expect Jack to go through the card on his return to Peterboro and get over 13 as I expect he will be required at some stage to take a TS ride Also expect Adam Ellis to get over 7, Jake Allen to get over 7, Luke Becker under 10 and also a bit on King to outscore Becker
  2. Why would Dan not be in this, as with many professions, Elite sportsmen/women are exempt from quarantine regulations around the world
  3. Jake Allen over Kyle Howarth, purely based on the fact Allen is likely to have more rides than Howarth with a potential TS and Heat 15 Cant see Morris repeating his performance from a couple of weeks back plus being a guest its more likely that TS and Heat 15 rides will got to Ipswich's "own" riders Jorgensen should outscore Wright and thats without the potential for being in Heat 15 Nicols scores this year mean on paper he outscores Etheridge
  4. Not really sure where Bet365 are getting a 10 point home win from, as I think it will be much closer, possibly 47-43. Fancy Danny King to have a good meeting outscoring Scott Nicholls and getting over 8, Bomber always value for more than 8 as well I feel
  5. My thinking is the Becker will not have a storming meeting and be under 9 and with Palm Toft getting a 2pt head start on him it should be ok to cover the handicap. Bomber should be scoring more than 6 at home from 5 potential rides. Also banking on Masters potentially having 7 with RR, TS and heat 15
  6. They most likely do have PC's and access to them but they just point blank refuse to use them for such things as ticket purchases. Look at the people in your local pub next time you go, everyone under 50 will be paying by card, those over 50 will open their wallet which contains a bank card but will insist on paying cash even if the barman has said they prefer card payments. Those that attend speedway are very much stuck in their ways they have turned up 5 mins before the start and paid cash and then stood in the exact same spot for 50 odd years and nothing is going to change that, and yes they would rather see the speedway closed down than change their ways in order to keep it running
  7. The paying on the gate facility was removed by the council...online sales only, hence the decision to suspend their season
  8. With both King and Allen having guaranteed 5 rides and possibly 6 depending on heat 15, think both will comfortably score over 11 and 9 respectively and due to the possibility of 6 rides think both will outscore Nicholls and Andersen easily also
  9. Depending on TS rides, Lawson could have 7 rides tonight.
  10. Should add, havent touched the meeting handicaps as i think 365 are pretty much on the money....or not enough variance from my own predictions of Wolves 50 - 40 Sheffield Peterboro 50 - 40 Kings Lynn Belle Vue 48 - 42 Ipswich
  11. Adam Ellis could have potentially 6 rides, so fully expect him to score over 6 with ease and also cover a handicap over dogmas, especially as he is at +2 Sam Masters also taking the RR ride for Rory and a possible Heat 15 appearance means he will also have 6 rides, should be capable of 2nd in each, so scoring over 11 Cant see Sedgmen strolling the scorers too much to be honest so fully expect Broc Nicol to cover that handicap Same with Ty Proctor, in woeful form and easily expect Ostergaard to outscore him easily. Would like to think Riss can get over 7 given he should have a minimum fo 5 rides, maybe even 6 with a TS ride With RR and Heat 15 also expect Lawson to get 6 outings also and outscore Hans, given that Hans and Bjarne could take points of each other as well Expecting Jake Allen to have 6 rides tonight and therefore should outscore Charles Wright, who will potentially only have 4 outings
  12. Generally around 5pm for British fixtures
  13. Dont think Troy will be throwing his average too much at home so expect him to get over 4. Also cant see Sheffield losing let alone going that far behind that Jack would require 6 rides, so there cant see him getting 8 more than Masters, barring accidents etc. Also think Sheffield will run out 6 point winners, easily covering the Handicap and the meeting win
  14. Belle Vue at -12, expecting a 20pt victory for the Aces so the h'cap should be easily covered Also taking Bjarne under 7, Bomber over 9, should get 6 rides so fully expect him to get at least 10 points Also a smaller player on Brady -4 over Bjarne, expect Brady to pretty much remain unbeaten whereas dont see Bjarne getting 5 points
  15. Check their website and twitter feed its all there
  16. Batchelor under 12????? Bet365 not listening to the podcasts then, Expected them to have him under 2 to make an interesting bet
  17. https://www.thestar.co.uk/sport/motorcycling/sheffield-tigers-revved-up-for-ipswich-meeting-after-slow-start-to-premiership-season-3248800
  18. And according to the preview of tonights meeting in the Sheffield Star, the Peterborough home meeting is now rescheduled for Wednesday the 2nd June??? Not sure how reliable this is as it doesnt appear on the Sheffield website and would mean the Tigers being at home 2 nights on the trot
  19. This is definitely not a case of Jack picking and choosing tracks, this is purely Jack picking and choosing which paymaster he pleases and the amount he is prepared to spend to do so. As anyone can see it is possible to get from England to Poland on Friday morning but there is only one chance and probably would involve a lot of logistics with travel and therefore expense. Add in covid tests time spent travelling and how prepared he would be once arriving in Gorzow. He wouldn't land in Warsaw till midday, how long to get through and out the airport etc??? Then it is a 5 hour drive to Gorzow. For the money he is paid in the UK to race compared to the money he could miss out on in Poland its a no brainer
  20. Well so far there has only been 3 meetings and a number 1 has finished last in all 3 heat 1's so far...Batchelor, Kurtz and Cook was the last finisher !
  21. Once the forecast had been issued at the weekend this meeting was never going to happen. Until all restrictions on crowd size are lifted in mid june, any hint of rain ahead and a meeting will be off...unless a designated TV meeting. Why would any promoter run a meeting now with reduced crowds when he has a chance to put the meeting on in July/August with a full crowd in attendance...obviously they cant cancel every single meeting as there will be no time to fit in all the matches but I expect all clubs to have a a couple of rains offs prior to June 21st , makes financial sense. Also many will do it as early as they can for Monday meetings to save their riders the expense of flying over from Poland.
  22. Batchelor over Wright Batchelor over 8 points Wright under 8 Points Etheridge -2 over Bates Kemp +1 over Bridger Cook over 10 points
  23. Surely both Holder and Crump can easily have 7 rides tonight? 4 programmed rides, one RR ride, Heat 15 making 6 and then as a tactical sub when more than 6 points down?
  24. Does anyone know what happens with regards postponements? Under normal circumstances if the weather was dodgy some would not go, but with having to purchase tickets in advance what happens o your cash should it be rained off? Given admission to a future event or full refund. If admission to a future event, how does that work with a limited capacity? Also for away fans you dont exactly want readmission to a future date, and you may not be able to make the rearranged fixture against your team
