  2. I'm sure I heard recently that the £50 note was being withdrawn?? :/ Not even sure where it originated from so can't confirm if true.
  3. taken from twitter: Mike Bacon ‏ Some BIG @ipswichspeedway news in Thursdays @EADT24 and @ipswichstar24 #speedway
  4. Looks like Rohan will be back over here in February, according to his tweets anyway.
  5. Oh lovely the PeatBog Horrors joining us in the PL, welcome (have always affectionately called you the Horrors, so don't be offended please) It will be great having local derby's again. Looking forward to seeing you in 2014.
  6. Have I missed something Baldy?? Has our team been announced??
  7. Tungate I would hope would be lining up for his HOME club the Witches :/
  8. lol as long as the left hand knows what the right is doing of course
  9. Well I'm in favour of riders doubling up. Much rather have the lads earning their money in this country than flying backwards and forwards across Europe. Also without the D/U the EL would not have enough riders!!! What I don't agree with is the riders riding in all 3 leagues. If they are good enough to get an EL place, then they are far too good for NL racing IMO.
  10. Arghhhh Cameron riding for Wolves tonight at Belle Vue, and been withdrawn with a hand injury he has just tweeted that he hurt his thumb, but should be good for Thursday
  11. Lol Jules, it's a joke right??? Are we allowed a replacement anyway?? Thought the transfer window (or whatever it's called) was closed.
  12. Sadly we will be without Ben for the rest of the season. He is having an operation on his back today. Speedy recovery Ben, we will miss you.
  13. Ben just tweeted this: ben barker ‏@benbarker88 1m Just to update everyone I have crushed the L5 vertebra in my back. Waiting to see if I need an operation wishing Ipswich a good meeting
  14. Yep lol, not either of those, wish I could remember grrrrr.Agree will miss Ben
  15. Yes we having a guest for Ben, but can't for the life of me remember who it is . Was announced on radio Suffolk yesterday these senior moments are a nightmare
  16. what he said!!RIP Tony. Millardisms v Shoutings, no contest Millardisms every time!!
  17. Joe is a born and bred Suffolk lad, not an Aussie lol. Although his winters are spent in OZ with Cam Heeps
  18. Taken from Ipswich Witches website: Fans Forum On Saturday Night Thursday, 08 August 2013 08:32 Another good reason to attend the Ipswich Witches v Redcar Bears meeting on Saturday night (August 10th) is that there will be an hour long Fans Forum in the main bar afterwards. A great chance to meet and chat with all your favourite riders, get autographs and have a picture taken, etc. Also advance notice that ex-Witch Dennis Sigalos will be visiting Foxhall on Thursday August 22nd (Ipswich v Plymouth).
  19. according to the line up on web site, neither is Lewis , Ritchie at No 7
  20. http://www.eadt.co.u...ction_1_2318754 From the man himself taken from EADT
  21. Come on people let's draw a line under this now please. How many more times are we going to go over the same things
  22. I may be wrong here, but haven't seen anything that says CL says Ben does nothing. I'm sure CL said, that things are often said and that is part and parcel of the sport , and Ben did get fined as well as Cook so yes the ref obviously deemed he was at fault too for the pits altercation and that's fine. What happened after is all down to Mr Cook I think you will find. So a bit of handbags which was fine, brightened up an already tasty looking meeting. Something was going to happen, after the previous weeks tweeting!! (which mysteriously disappeared I'm sure) Nobody got hurt, thankfully, and justice was meted out to Cook for his OTT behaviour. The losers in all this were his team mates and the fans of both teams.
