Well you are obviously "in the know", so why don't you put the rest of us out of our misery, instead of having to wait for the announcement of more team members next week, tell us now so we can join you with your views on our 2012 team!!!

Disappointed about Lasse, but understanding CL in Lovespeedway.com http://www.lovespeedway24.co.uk/teams/peterborough-panthers/no_lasse_but_witches_close_to_completion_1_1142551?utm_medium=twitter&utm_source=twitterfeed

And deprived from watching "Every" week. Since when ever did the EL ride every week
-
So no Mr Chair for us in 2012 then, Ritchie re signs for the Rockets
-
Well the cynic in me says it will be 6 however by accepting him into the NL last year and poss this year, surely he will be a 3
-
Well obviously, after all Ipswich did get Cameron Heeps to sign
-
Jenga I have no idea who your Team Manager( ie TM) is/was at Worky I must apologise I missed the / from between the word Promoter and TM, but to be honest I didn't realise you also don't know who the TM (get it Team Manager ) is for your own team. Thanks Mr S you were correct in your assumption of the initials.
-
Lol, blimey, might have to copy this!!! ...no I'll just bask in the fact that once or twice we can sing from the same hymn sheet.....roll on the next signings
-
Firstly I truly hope next season you have no need to use guests, but should that occasion arise, I truly hope your promoter TM won't ask Kevin to guest for you then, because he's the kind of guy who will agree to try and help you out, but obviously his best is not enough for you Worky lot Not many Ipswich fans sad at this announcement I bet, we think he's great, and am so glad CL and Pete stuck with him last year. Oh and how can anyone think that our teams in the EL were cheap , hardly think Mark Loram, Hans Andersen, Scott Nicholls and Jarek Hampel were cheap

Lol and Jerran was bigging it up at Foxhall when Leicester were in town

TBF Baggy, it crossed my mind too, why would people keep putting Topinka in our line ups , and his appearances this year wouldn't instill any confidence either 5. Tomas Topinka - 0,1,1,0,2 = 4 3. Tomas Topinka - 1,2,1,1,2* = 7+1

Indeed CL did say that, and it is true, but I bet the crowds didn't get below 1000. How can you give one of the reasons for lower crowds the fact of seeing some teams twice, when the very existance in the EL has you meeting ALL teams twice, and some 3 or even 4 times depending on Craven Shield, KO cup and the odd season opener (I know that wasn't you!!btw) Previous seasons in the EL have been seeing lower and lower crowds though haven't they, I know I used last year for the example and that was particularly dire, but the EL got so that we had so few meetings and so many gaps, people just got fed up with the stop start culture that is EL speedway that they walked away. So what do we deduce from this i) fans only want to see a winning team? ii) the very wet summer mean't no racing in the summer holidays cutting the attendance down quite a lot? iii) fans only want EL speedway? Not too sure tbh, what I do know is that I enjoyed the season immensely TBH, (barring the bad injuries I hasten to add) we've been there or thereabouts all season and the icing on the cake the 4's trophy. Now another season in the PL and the EL snobs( ) still won't attend whomever is in the team, but for me another year like this last one (ex injuries of course)is fine, just need to get a bit of consistancy from 1-7 like we had latterly this year
-
Much better regardless of what Aljack says, mind you we had one of the worst EL team lineups in 2010 to be fair, and they just couldn't ride the "new" track whereas most of the away teams loved it!!! It is a fact that the attendance was down a bit later in the season due to the fact that our diehard 1000 or so fans were boosted quite considerably by "new away" supporters visiting Foxhall for the first time but it wasn't anywhere near as bad as our happy chappy insists on posting!!! TBF the 2nd phase didn't help did it!!!
-
Have you thought it might possibly be Kings Lynn or Birmingham???
-
I know this is a thread for 2012, but have a read of Mike Bacon's view on the 2011 season: http://www.lovespeedway24.co.uk/teams/ipswich-witches/pride_back_in_the_witches_a_season_s_review_1_1117766

Just further confirmation of Cameron Heeps signing for the Witches: http://ipswichwitches.co/

Dinner and Dance last night Baldy!!!
-
Well it's official, about 150 Witches fans witnessed Cameron Heeps sign his contract to ride for Ipswich Witches in 2012. I'm sure the website will be updated in the near future

For people who missed it, here it is: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/console/p00ksnwp go to 1.36.40

Wouldn't be at all surprised to see Ritchie as a Witch TBH, would love Kozza but as CS has said, he's had a brilliant season so may have done himself out of a spot (well with us ) suppose it really depends on what the team building average will be in 2012. Still seems really strange having Aussies,Danes and Brits instead of Poles One thing I would like for all teams in 2012 is less injuries, so many poor lads have suffered this year, right across the leagues.

How strange that 2 people can hear the same broadcast but have different views . Do you know it didn't enter my head that he was referring to Kev and Morten!!!
