  1. I never thought you agreed with anybody Orion..
  2. Well done to the Rebels tonight. Now on to the K O Cup Sunday..
  3. Is there any English in Barnsley? Hampel run a last, that won't happen, unless he has EF.
  4. If the weather is kind and the Somerset boys all turn up in one piece, i can't even see Rye even winning this meeting. But im sure that Garry and Bish will want to make sure the boys do a professional job and finish it off.
  5. And all the more reason for everybody to work together to ensure a deal is done.
  6. Rebels will know whats required here, they need to go into this with a positive frame of mind. Nothings won untill its won.. Best of luck Garry Bish and the boys. on it..
  7. Why would you replace Doyley with a 5.25 rider? If the team building average is 42.50 next season, you can still sign him and build the team around him. Its a fact of life averages will come into any teams building plans, not just Somersets. But have faith in Garry, he will find a team worth following, you won't lose all your present team.. you still have a hell of a lot to play for this season, starting next week. To be fair, it wasn't one of Somersets better meetings, by far but the job got done. and with a full 1-7 i think Rye will be hard pressed to win the meeting next Sunday..
  8. i also don't know where your getting this from, as Ez was telling me thats the most dirt thats been on the track all season.. He also talks to to the riders!!
  9. A good win by the Rebels tonight, and good to see Josh scoring well, hope he brings that game to poole on Monday. Doyley was his usual self, and good to see Nicolai Klindt ride particulary well. But its the first time ive been able to watch Charles Wright, and i was suitably impressed, on that average im sure Garry will be thinking long and hard for next season! i still say Kyle Newman is open to better, but on his average i really can't think of anybody better Nice to meet TinyTim Rebel selling Raffle Tickets in aid of the fence fund. If i win anything mate let me know via here!! Mate i looked for you in the clubhouse after the meeting but you must had shot on? After the Auction it was good to hear their fund is rising well.. So the Rebels take a decent lead to the second leg, and if, they take a full 1-7 i can't really see them letting it slip.
  10. Good ideas John, but i really can't get me ed round the posibillity of both Jessica and Cheryl lining up at the tapes!!
  11. You on your way up? Have a good trip, good result safe journey back.. I bet you all can't stop laughing...
  12. Ah right, that explains it. Thanks for enlightening me. Don't know the lad, thats why. Yeh, thanks Statman, like i said to mr Blobby, that explains it.
  13. Really, well according to Pirate Nick he's a Glasgow Junior? For a 24 yr old he so well known he doesn't even figure in any of the lastest GS averages, PL or NL, So who does he ride for now??
  14. Well im hardly going to say, yeh mate, , its in the bag init, just got to turn up.. I don't think any self respecting Somerset fan would be saying that, do you?? Then again, i suppose you would. job still needs to be done.
  15. Garry May seems to have a habit of digging up these kids! Big night for Somerset. need to go into the meeting with the right attitude and do a professional job.
  16. Cracking result for the Rebels last night. Bit of Phycological advantage there as well.. Mustn't rest on their Laurals tho, plenty of work to do still. His trips to the South coast are benifiting him big time, Making him a far better rider, and still more to come.
  17. Yeh ours have zips, im not to sure about that design. what you mean is you cable tie the overlapping rubbers?
  18. Although the Somerset Mnagement have picked the two aformentioned clubs, i doubt very much they will take anything for Granted..
  19. Congratulations to Garry May and the Rebels on finishing top. Now they need to put things right from last year.. get to the final and take the second leg. But before that there's plenty of work for them to do.
  20. Unfortunately mate your wrong about the Briggo airfence, we have one at Poole. Yes the rubbers do go right down to the track, but you have to keep a bit of shale on them during the meeting to help keep them down, then after heat 15 it can be all raked off. They also have D clips at the bottom of the panels at the back, 2-3 for each panel, and H clips for the tops, the fence won't move anywhere, we've had a couple of 3 testers. But you still have to check them, every week.. so im told. Very good fence's well recomended to any PL club looking to purchase a FIM Airfence.
