  1. Ha Ha, very funny. Rebels about to go 10 pts down, time for a Doyley double. Edit, oh dear... Edit 49-41 to Edinburgh. Alex has a mare of a night, 1, and the reserves will have to do better. Rebels should really have got a point out of this. But nevermind, this on the face of it, is the hardest of the 3. School report, must do better.
  2. SHOULD, be an easy win for the Rebels, but in there position, you take nothing for granted... As i said, professional job needed.
  3. 2 Pts is better than none, as i said, not a shoe in. Puts you up to joint second.. All to race for, Northern tour could shape your season...
  4. So tonight Somerset beat Plymouth very convincingly, but they need to do it again tomorrow night at St Boniface. Somerset must not look at this as a shoe in, they must go into the meeting with the right attitude and comittment, without taking un-nessercery chances. Gating will be the order of the day down there, they have the riders to do that and win this. Again, no complacency.
  5. As somebody else said, evenmore impressive. A 4 man team and R/R, dat ain't bad, shame they couldn't have held on for 3 more heats...
  6. And keep crossing those fingers mate. Garry is a real nice bloke and shaping up out to be a very good team manager, learn't his trade with the buccaneers at Poole, now has a real good team assembled at the OTA. He deserves to go a heat 15 better!!!!
  7. I certainly wouldn't expect any complacency from the Rebels in both meetings,. if Simon Lambert attains his average that all you can ask from him, that said, i would certainly expect 6 points from the 2 meetings. Plymouth is a bit like Arena Essex, and we all know what you have to do their!!!!
  8. Win for the Rebels will put them in the top four, but they don't want to look at this as a walk in the park.. Need a total Team effort..
  9. Didn't think you would be somehow, can't begin to think why!! Then again, Chris hasn't done to badlty with that Crappy style and out of control riding as you put it, has he... Time you had a re-think.
  10. Then as your a RICH pensioner, perhaps you can help him out with an Engine or three, and get them tuned by Johnsy...
  11. Well done to the Rebels tonight, and good allround professional performance. It seems the EL is rubbing off on Josh, good rider nice lad. Now you have to do the same on Tuesday..
  12. Can't argue with that I know its PL, but that is the best ive seen Hougaard ride.. You need to keep winning...
  13. Sidney your wasting your breath mate, if its not Kennett its the team, if its not the team its kennett , if its not them its Neil, they would all be totally lost if they were dumped in the pits with a programme and told to get on with it. Its primerily a poole thing. Well tough on there part, because nothings going to change, including the manager. So short pier long walk springs to mind, don't waste your breath mate..
  14. And what about if Mark Cannot do any better with the same riders at his disposal... Oh, u'l all say, well, Mark was only a stop gap.. Ha ha, turn it which ever way you like, we are not good enough no matter who is put in the team...
  15. You can't can you... and neither can anybody else on here. To me its a poole thing first and formost..
  16. Sure you could have picked a better team, behind a computer screen its easy. How do you know it was handled badly, you are just guessing, how do you know that Cook didn't just throw all his toys out the pram? If Neil said im resting you for this meeting then Cook chucked all his toys out the pram thats not very professional, is it and the likelyhood being he's not likely to get looked at again, you just accept it. If Alex Fregusson told Rooney your being substituted and he starts kicking off, im sure that Fergusson would have had big words. But appart from Tai Bomber and perhaps Danny King, who else has Neil got to fall back on, and don't say the kids, because i would gurrantee you, you would be the first to moan when they got tailed off. even you have to admit he is very limited on choices. And it really wouldn't matter who was Team GB boss, you still have the same riders at their disposal. As i said, you can't turn a selling plater to coin a fraize into a Derby horse... But i do not expect you to agree or believe any of that...
  17. Its his choice, not yours... I some how very much doubt it, its all very well shouting from behind a computer screen, but put you in the pits you would fall to pieces.
  18. Gav, and tell me this, what has Neil got to work with? If he puts out the experienced riders and we get beat, people moan, if he puts out the kids and they get tailed off, which they will, people will moan, he's in a no win situation.. But of course there are many would be managers on here who obviously think they can do better,,, behind a keyboard...
