Sure you could have picked a better team, behind a computer screen its easy. How do you know it was handled badly, you are just guessing, how do you know that Cook didn't just throw all his toys out the pram? If Neil said im resting you for this meeting then Cook chucked all his toys out the pram thats not very professional, is it and the likelyhood being he's not likely to get looked at again, you just accept it. If Alex Fregusson told Rooney your being substituted and he starts kicking off, im sure that Fergusson would have had big words. But appart from Tai Bomber and perhaps Danny King, who else has Neil got to fall back on, and don't say the kids, because i would gurrantee you, you would be the first to moan when they got tailed off. even you have to admit he is very limited on choices. And it really wouldn't matter who was Team GB boss, you still have the same riders at their disposal. As i said, you can't turn a selling plater to coin a fraize into a Derby horse... But i do not expect you to agree or believe any of that...

Gav, and tell me this, what has Neil got to work with? If he puts out the experienced riders and we get beat, people moan, if he puts out the kids and they get tailed off, which they will, people will moan, he's in a no win situation.. Mate that bottom line is probably more to the truth, Neil is a very good manager, but if bad vibes filter down from the top then no matter what is said then your not going to get full rider comitment hence why didn't Scott ride? yes i was pleased to see Bridger ride properly and not showboat But take away Tai and Bomber we are in dire trouble, and i don't care what anybody says, nobody, will improve things, not this year next year or the year after without the full backing of the powers that be.

Thats very correct, you take on a yearling and you can train it and bring it on the correct way then sell it on with no vices or if you are an owner who's brought it on put it in training with a well respected up front Trainer. As for your second point, thats my point exactly, we have nobody, Correction, we do, but the likelyhood being they will never, reach the standard of the Poles Dane Aussies, why, see my post above. Tell me this, when Bomber retires Scott is not interested and we hopefully still have Tai, who else do we have?? Thats why you really can't fault Neil for trying, he's doing his best with what he has at his disposal.. Here they all come, two by two, its like bloody Noa's Ark...

Well lets face it, ther's nobody else out there that could do better given the riders at Neils disposal. As i said, i was very pleased with Bridgers attitude, and Barker did ok, but you can't turn selling platers into Derby horses, no matter what you feed them. We are patiently not good enough, and still won't be in 2-3-4-5 years time.. Why, because it all revolves around money facillities abillity and the biggest of all,,,Ambition...
