Ipswich V Glasgow Pl Thurs 17th July 2014 @7-30

No Shadders , that was purely a cost cutting measure dressed up as something positive . Ellis looked a much better rider in the same fixture at Glasgow , was surprised how poor both Ipswich reserves were last night . And while I'm delighted with a point , oh for that 5-1 we should have got in heat 14 though -

Something Got To Change (sheffield)

A lot of team building is pot luck , and we cant all get it right . Look at Edinburgh when they signed a 3 pointer in Steve Worrall , who could have predicted the turnaround in his career . The " there's nobody out there " argument is probably right . Nobody affordable and nobody who will give you much more than what you have , and certainly nobody who'll transform your season -
Better order sunshine for next Thursday

What time do schoolkids go to bed these days ? Surely most kids are back home by 10 o clock after a home speedway meeting -

Are you trying to say it's overkill haha . Still 2 more league meetings at Armadale and one at Ashfield to go . If you get past Berwick and we somehow overcome Newcastle , then that will be another two meetings in the KO Cup , and they can go to replays . So can we quietly shuffle the Scottish Cup into cold storage this season ?

I think the point is , how do we replace the over 50's over the next 10 or 20 years -
Didn't quite reach the entertainment value of the Plymouth meeting the week before , but it was still a pretty good match . Obviously it's never nice to lose to the Monarchs , especially at home , but they are a solid outfit and there was still reason to be proud of the Tigers' performance in the meeting . Sooner we get back to full strength the better though .

We know Cook chances his arm at the starts , we've all seen it . But that's not to say he isn't a decent rider . The question is though , how does this Edinburgh record equalling side stack up against that wonderful Hammers side
