  1. That's the thing , all we have is well meaning friends and supporters offering reasons and excuses why our number 1 isn't riding like a number 1 . That wont wash among the support as they suffer one inept display after another . There was a pretty decent crowd there yesterday , ok the weather was decent for a change and it was a derby against the smugs . But 35 points ( and a t/r inflated 35 points at that ) is unacceptable regardless the opposition .
  2. I agree , we've reached saturation level with asking for supporters help . I dont know , do we ask our new sponsors for help ? We have to do something . As it stands we're just as uncompetative as we were last season and can we afford to have another season like last year ?
  3. That was the general consensus at the time . Nobody is suggesting Wolbert is indulging in anything like that , we're all just puzzled and disappointed at how such a good rider at PL level should be churning out such poor displays . There's always one . I dont know , the club i presume . But what happens if we dont do something ? defeat after defeat again and the support voting with their feet . Then what ? Answer me that
  4. We might need to gamble though . As Dorothy says , another season like last year and the doors might shut anyway cause there will be hardly anyone there to watch .
  5. I assume you mean Wolbert . When did he blow them ? In his first race he spent four laps looking for a way past a rookie American who has hardly scored a point at PL level . His next effort was equally as poor . He did stop in his third race after two laps , but was already a poor last in that one anyway . We're struggling badly as a team and need a number 1 to be providing points , not excuses why he cant . Maybe the time is soon approaching when we make either Kauko Nieminen or Magnus Karlsson an offer they can't refuse , whether we can afford it or not .
  6. Yes , so i heard . Hope this is not the start of the implosion on and off the track Nobody is suggesting it is deliberate , not even the odd Edinburgh joker with the " Agent Wolbert " jibes . And i feel for the guy if it is the case he cant afford to get his bikes up to standard . But we went 4 months last season without a home win , dont think the home support could stand another season like that again this year . And having a number 1 rider not scoring heat leader points wont help address that problem .
  7. Given the amount of time Stewart spent driving the tractor yesterday , it would appear he's on his own .
  8. I wasnt there on Friday , but apparently he was superb at Armadale on Friday . Which makes today's lamentable performance all the more puzzling
  9. Think it was meant Blobby it's called black humour
  10. Anyway , enough of the negative stuff . The one bright spot today - Dimitri Berge . I thought the lad was terrific .
  11. That is so last year . Anyway our centre green announcer said we're going away to regroup , so that's ok then
  12. Leave the lad alone , it's nice to see him put his gambling and love failures to one side and take an interest in Glasgow's woes
  13. Agreed , last chance saloon for Wolbert in the coming week methinks
  14. Track wasn't that slick , he just didn't look interested
  15. Which is why none of us could understand why Harrison was thrown the black and white helmet , against the blessed one , in heat 5 . Took him a lap to get by Lemon after missing the gate and couldnt even catch Samantha . You're right , there's nobody out there . But Wolbert's display today was totally unacceptable .
  16. Wolbert's performance today had to be seen to be believed .
  17. Where do i start with that load of garbage . Wolbert , what the hell was that all about ? Lemon , time to chuck it . Thank god for Rusty and Berge . Can we take another season like last year ? That would close the place , but it looks on the cards . How can you win meetings when you're giving bike lengths away at the tapes . Monarchs ( spit ) look a decent side again , but we were totally inept today . Sneddon 7 paid 9 and didnt even have to work for it , which basically sums up how poor we were . Has there ever been a more disinterested performance from a Tigers number 1 than Agent Wolbert put in today ? I think not . Peterborough with the devil incarnate up next week , oh dear
  18. Do i go and watch an understrength Tigers side at the dump . or do i take my missus to Arran for a couple of days for our anniversary , you decide Fred . I presume you'll be at Ashfield on Sunday like me .
  19. Speedway is dying on it's arse at PL level . How many were there on Saturday night ? About 700 maybe . Comparable with the track in Scotland's biggest city 100 miles up the road . Berwick are no better or worse than most tracks in our league
  20. Waste of money with two NL riders in at reserve . I'll be having a night in the pub methinks .
  21. Where the hell are our two reserves anyway ? Some Danish nonsense meeting no doubt . Not exactly enticing us over to the Nou Camp , for a gubbing in the cold , that news .
  22. Maybe , but every time he crashes his grasp of the English language improves tenfold
  23. All past finger pointing at us was just scurrilous lies and porky telling by the Corstorphine MSSC smug section . Anyway the League Cup doesn't count towards averages , so Wolbert's been wasting his time
