Really ???? You think me so predictable . Anyway , credit where credit is due . The guy has been magnificent for the Monarchs , on occasion winning meetings for his team on his own . In the Armadale era he'll be mentioned in the same breath as Frede Schott , Rory Schlein and Peter Carr as Monarchs greats .............................................Craig Cook aint bad either .

Agreed . An entertaining and exciting spectacle ruined by self serving administrators with a rule book that must be as thick as War and Peace with more loopholes than a bent barrister can ejaculate over .

Adam Roynon Dropped By Sheffield

No doubt it will come out that Sheffield have worked within the rules somehow , but the whole sorry episode stinks -
Adam Roynon Dropped By Sheffield

So why then did everybody assume Proctor would have ridden on Thursday ( the 1st ) had the meeting went ahead ? -
06 was the last one on the eve of Cardiff . That was the night Cockle had a swing at Joel Parsons after heat 14 . And in heat 15 the stewards were called to the referee's box after Jim McGregor excluded Carl Wilkinson . Then Shane Parker had a brick thrown at him by a member of the crowd as he celebrated victory . Those nights are sadly missed

Surprised at Berwick just rolling over , Peter Waite wouldn't have . Back in the day Glasgow dropped Trent Leverington to bring in Leon Madsen . Madsen subsequently changed his mind . Glasgow tried to re-introduce Leverington for their next meeting ( at Berwick ) and Peter Waite objected and Leverington couldn't ride . -

How can they ? He's not injured , he's been dropped . How can that be possibly justified ? -

The BSPA chaiman will sort it all out -
That only really happened down there in the latter years . The meeting we used to have with them the night before Cardiff was my favourite meeting of the season . What a shame all that is lost

True , but if Sheffield get away with that one tonight . When it comes to our meeting tomorrow , Dimitri Berge is injured so can we use r/r for James Grieves ? Just a thought -

Hahahaha that is ridiculous . You cant sack a rider then try to use r/r for him . I know the speedway rules are open to manipulation , but surely not haha -
the less than a thousand hardy souls obviously No , we are all just in awe of the Monarchs' greatness

Glasgow Tigers V Redcar Bears Pl Sun 4th May 2014 @3p.m.
Paulco replied to Paulco's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Is he not Russian ? Oh well silly Paulco -
It's our old pals " We are Redcar Bears , say we are Redcar Bears , this Sunday . And their loud and friendly gang of followers are always very welcome visitors . They have not a bad team to follow this year too , having had one or two encouraging results so far this season . I'm assuming that Richard Hall is still on the naughty step having copped a 28 day ban for giving Josh Auty a kick , and they have some Russian bloke standing in . Ann Summers and Son of God ( apart from last week ) are pretty good round Ashy and this should be an interesting and entertaining affair . Cant see our French sensation turning out this week , so it will probably be r/r for us . Sunday's teams ( unless there is an important fixture somewhere more important ) should be Glasgow 1 Kevin Wolbert 2 r/r 3 Mark Lemon 4 Theo Pijper 5 Rusty Harrison 6 Kasper Lykke 7 Anders Thomsen Redcar 1 Son of God 2 Rafal Konopka 3 Huge Skidmark 4 Carl Wilkinson 5 Ann Summers 6 Jan Graversen 7 Luke Crang So after finally getting off the mark last week , let's see if we can build on that now . C'mon the Stripes

We basically just have the local spats . Glasgow/Edinburgh , Newcastle/Redcar . The threads when these meetings take place can get silly at times with a load of name calling . But what i have noticed is that a lot of PL supporters have a drink and a blether together, before during and after meetings , more than what goes on in either of the other two divisions .

I disagree , i find abusing Edinburgh Monarchs both satisfying and theraputical

Wore his shorts at Berwick the other week , Lioness . Was absolutely baltic as well . How hard is that

Peterborough V Newcastle - Tuesday 29th April
Paulco replied to NeilWatson's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
It was just the needless attack on three tracks . I've seen very entertaining meetings on all three you said produced dross . And i've seen average meetings on some with the better reputations . Track prep is god and it's a consistancy which we seem to lack in this country . PL tracks can usually seem to get it right when SKY are in town , but maybe dont put in the same effort the rest of the time . -
