Glasgow (28) vs (62) PIRATES BSN Final 2nd leg 21st JulyPaulco replied to lbw's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway Good morning Glasgow riders and welcome to Mission Impossible . Your assignment , should you choose to accept it , is eight five ones , five four twos and a three three , just to take the pressure off heat 15 . Should this task be achieved , this page will self destruct in five seconds. Good luck men

Oxford vs Glasgow - Champ - 19/7Paulco replied to Bojangles's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway Why is it when we lose , poor old Lee or Marcin or anybody else suddenly isn't good enough . We scored 38 points at the track of the team currently top of the league . If Oxford can keep Heeps at reserve , they must be in with a decent chance come the play offs . Certainly we do look a bit vulnerable at reserve , but things can quickly turn around . We've in all likelihood done enough already to make the play offs , then its a clean slate and on the night anything can happen . I wouldn't write us off just yet .

Mibbees aye mibbees naw . Hope it does , its a wee bit ex Tigers v present Tigers get together with Morris , Sedgmen , Starke and the glorious team manager versus the present septet living the dream . It's a stronger looking septet for Birmingham , than the one that embarrassed themselves against Edinburgh , probably be a lot closer than that sorry night

Glasgow v Redcar CL 7/7/23 @7-30Paulco replied to Paulco's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway That was a cracking meeting between two of the top contenders . Danny King's impetiousness at the start of heat 13 was the turning point . Good win for us , will 12 points be enough for the bonus point ?

Surprised no thread for this important league match , suppose the BSN Cup has taken all the interest and angst among us . Really important we don't slip up at home against Redcar again , seriously need to right Wednesdays wrongs . We should be along normal lines , while Luke Harrison guests for the injured Mulford and its not yet known whether Erik Riss will be fit after he withdrew from last night's meeting at Ipswich . Early rain should clear before lunchtime leaving the track perfect for an exciting meeting .

Glasgow (28) vs (62) PIRATES BSN Final 2nd leg 21st JulyPaulco replied to lbw's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway Seriously ? You don't think a 34 point deficit will affect the size of the crowd ? Or are you just trying to be a smart arse?

Glasgow (28) vs (62) PIRATES BSN Final 2nd leg 21st JulyPaulco replied to lbw's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway More chance of the Hubble telescope spotting Elvis riding Shergar on Mars than Poole not reaching 29 points before heat 10 at Ashfield . Probably be the smallest crowd ever for a national final .

Hugely embarrassing . There is no way the team we have assembled should score less than 30 points anywhere and against any opposition in our division . This is why I wanted the home leg first a packed stadium full of anticipation, now we'll have a half full stadium if we're lucky and riders and fans just going through the motions . 15 last places , dear god , that actually takes a bit of doing . Only a 16 year old 3 months into his Championship career escapes criticism .

Glasgow v Poole. BSN Series Final 1st Leg 30/6/23Paulco replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway I'd rather have the first leg anyway . I would prefer us trying to defend a lead as opposed to try to claw back any deficit

Glasgow v Poole. BSN Series Final 1st Leg 30/6/23Paulco replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway Not exactly having sleepless nights about him scoring a maximum against a KL side that would struggle to beat most championship sides and on a trick track

Glasgow v Poole. BSN Series Final 1st Leg 30/6/23Paulco replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway Lot of negative paranoia emanating from Dorset . Cant imagine why , you lost at an inform Oxford , big deal . You drew at Redcar , who beat us home and away in the KO Cup , though we were without Basso in the home leg . This has all the makings of a classic as long as the weather doesn't spoil it . I think we will win on Friday , but by enough ? Who knows

Glasgow v Edinburgh CL 16/9/23 @19-30Paulco replied to Paulco's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway Survived the monsoon weather and was surprised how well the track stood up to the rain . Thinking this was going to be a one sided encounter , credit to the Monarchs in proving me wrong . Ultimately it was the brilliance of Basso and Harris that proved desisive , heat 13 in particular was incredible . Pride restored in the Monarchs camp after last Friday , the new Dane seemed to like the Ashfield circuit better than his own .

Glasgow v Edinburgh CL 16/9/23 @19-30Paulco replied to Paulco's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway And all joking aside , that is the sad part . Craig was a terrific rider to watch round Ashfield , wonderfully entertaining . And a constant thorn in our side during his first stint in the blue and gold . No reason he can't be that rider again if he can put what the trouble is behind him
