Now you should know by now never to make presumptions in speedway.
-
The obvious follow up question is how will this effect the Rebels? I would hope as this is a temporary replacement that the Rebels will take priority but who knows. Obviously home meetings are not a problem but what about clashing away meetings? What about Good Friday? If this is detrimental to Somerset I can see a few issues with support. Fingers crossed!

Neither team should get too excited by this opener as there is an awefully long way to go but needless to say I would rather take this than a good old Ipswich Foxall thrashing. -
Nicely thought out argument. So Josh didn't really have a prayer of winning having to do two extra laps from a standing start despite the extra lap distance. It was surprising that most thought it would go Josh's way. Wonder how it would have gone with both from the tapes? Wouyld also be interesting on a big track too.
-
Well the surprising answer was the cyclist. Josh gave up at the end of lap 3 as the cyclist was too far ahead. I would say that if he had continued he would have been 3/4 of lap behind. Mind you the cyclist was going some.
-
I'll let you know before retiring for the night.
-
Interesting race tonight between Josh and a cyclist. 2 laps with a rolling start by the cyclist versus 4 laps from the gate by Josh. What do you think the result was?
-
Well, well, well, I would never have guessed that.
-
Well it seems like this early retirement thing is endemic at the OTA. Would like to think I could do likewise but I need to build up the pension pot first.

Good to see Ritchie and Josh getting in some track time before the start of our own meetings. -
Hence the use of "normally" Mr T. Bet (there I go again ) you will be glad to see the back of this week.
-
Well it must be near the start of the season as the Cheltenham Festival is just about to kick off. This normally sees 'oldtimer' making his excuses for missing press and practice although he misses much more these days. Have a good festival 'oldtimer' if you're going to the races. Excitement building with P&P being a week away tomorrow.

The unfortunate thing is that Saturday is normally a changeover day, too late for those leaving, too early for those arriving.
-
Must have been around the coast by boat.

What Are You Looking Forward To This Season? ...The start! -
I suppose the promotion can't be held responsible for my memory loss although I agree with your point. No harm in reminding everyone of the fact even if it is the n'th year of an m year deal. I did assume that Cases were as it had not been announced to the contrary and I would assume an appeal for a new sponsor would have quicky been announced if not. Also the website is still set up as such. It was press releases from other clubs that prompted me to ask. P.S. Perhaps they are saving it up for after P&P?
-
Was just wondering if Cases were still on board for this year? Can't remember what the deal was. Thanks in anticipation.

Is it not what "it says on the tin", i.e. a club for like minded supporters and that is what is the most important thing? Fair play if they cross the boundary and support the Speedway Club in the way that they feel fulfilled in being supporters. The Bandits are lucky to have one, whatever their mandate.

It could be 5, 6 or 7 days; it could be 5, 6 or 7 weeks. Sorry, much more than less helpful I know but I couldn't resist after '...bruv's reply.

Not according to SCB -
A bit confused here. I thought that all teams were built to the same points limit?

Speedway is just 4 years behind the times! -
Is this the opposite of SHOUTING? No need to be a mouse 'sparkafag'. For everybody else 'sparkafag' said:. "Heeps, Rose, Wolbert, Worrall (Richie) are the obvious. Hall, Auty and Fisher also have a 1.00/1.5 in them."
