  1. If that was your best meeting of the season, I really, really, really pity your fans. We were beaten fair and square but on a totally unexciting and initially over watered track with very few racing lines. Most of the passing was done due to racers faltering by trying to race on a rideable but non raceable track. Very poor entertainment indeed. If we were to never win any major trophies again, I would still rather watch the excellent racing at Glasgow that that which was on show tonight. No sour grapes…..just the truth as I see it.
  2. Got to say, it was very unusual for the Glasgow track to be that dusty. When our usual race day was a Sunday afternoon, although difficult, they seemed to capture it fairly well.
  3. Ah!…..that never twigged with me but I did wonder about the green machine he was riding. Thanks for the info….
  4. Entertaining meeting despite the lengthy delay…….glad I waited. Track was made good by the staff to provide some good racing…..well done. Right decision.
  5. Sad news……Wishing Monarchs all the very best in finding a new home.
  6. Madness to regrade when your riders are doing well. It’s happening time and time again that the opposition are benefitting.
  7. Sorry…..not from where I stand near the starting gate. No deliberate infringement by Harris but he cut in front of Starke leaving him no option but to lay down. Couldn’t believe the exclusion light not going on immediately and neither could the other fans around me watching from that viewpoint.
  8. Agree Fromafar………seems to be a confidence issue. He appears to be reluctant to give it full whack for the full length of the straights and going into the bends. Be surprised if he doesn’t get it back.
  9. Thought I spotted Ludvig Lingren in the crowd tonight?……does this mean anything?….
  10. Exactly as I see it too. Morris and Shanes have plateaued but Hume is on the way up……
  11. I hate that politics are brought into a speedway forum…….but Hear! Hear! to your statement crescent girl.
  12. Lol……I think I’ve heard most riders say in their after season speeches that they’d like to return the following year….
  13. Sorry I’ve just been reminded on another thread that the Eastbourne adjustment has still to be taken into account….so maybe I’m wrong here.
  14. Ah….forgot about the Eastbourne thing…….is that definitely going to happen?
  15. Ulrich on 7.96……so wouldn’t fit in there.
  16. Is the reduction not 2.5%?…(or am I wrong?) If it is, then I make Tom Brennan’s average to be 6.32
  17. Neither do abilities……I’m sure he had that average due to riding whilst recovering from injury.
  18. Cameron Heeps going to Oxford. I really thought we would have pounced for him this year on that average.
  19. Lol…….And you said MY attempt at team building was too much like last years…….lol
  20. If it were to be the case that he is signing (not my preference) then this team would fit…….Craig Cook, Jason Crump, Tom Brennan, Kasper Andersen, Broc Nicol, Cameron Heeps, Connor Bailey. Only thing missing is a second big hitter for heats 13&15………..although I could see Tom stepping into this role pretty soon. I can see a fair bit of scope for average improvement in that team.
  21. Not to mention …….MR………….HARLEY…….…..HORWOOOOOD !!! lol
  22. Any chance you can tell us what you DO think our team is?……..
  23. You left out the word “FAR” Jaizer before “more entertaining”…..
  24. Oooh!……interesting that a Glasgow supporter in the know said this….lol. Could he be finishing his British career where it started?
