The conversation started with someone saying they loved their speedway but don’t attend any more because they thought it was no longer value for money. All I was meaning was, if they “loved” their speedway (as much as I do) they’d still be going regardless. Now, if they can no longer afford it, that’s a different story.

I don’t want other forms of entertainment in place of my love for speedway thanks.

But you had umpteen other restaurants to move to. We’re talking about Speedway as a whole here.....and there’s only ONE Speedway.

All I asked for was your solution to the problems?...... and stated that walking away, like some people who claim to love the sport are doing, isn’t going to fix it.

So, we should ALL walk away then?............good tactic..........never thought of that. Seriously.....what is you’re solution to make the people who provide speedway give YOU what YOU desire?

If you REALLY loved speedway, you’d still be going. Don’t think you can be a true fan of the sport in my opinion.

Ully isn’t the rider he was in his prime obviously but I will be very surprised if he doesn’t increase his starting average a fair bit... and some other members of this team will do likewise in my opinion.

I agree and it’s sad....but what’s the alternative? I’ve lived through the unlimited average days...and then the rider control days...and it wasn’t good.
