  1. Bearing in mind the fuss it's caused its a certainty But as I said earlier some teams are allowed to play this game and others are not, that's what stinks.
  2. Not disputing Somerset should have told him, just commenting on the utter farce regarding Kurtz snr and the BSPA office. As a former member of the association/Newcastle you are hardly unbiased are you.
  3. I have read most of the thoughts on this episode and my first thought was this has nothing to do with Denmark and more to do with someone stopping Somerset from getting young Brady on a false starting average. I wouldn't mind betting if he was starting for Edinburgh or Newcastle he would be on a 3.00.
  4. Well having checked last years groups I would have thought they would replace Leicester in the midland group.
  5. North should already be on the team sheet, I don't know a lot about Blackbird but have seen some of the rumours.
  6. You sound surprised, this is standard BSPA utter farce
  7. I think in Fisher and Ostergard we have all the experience we need, North and youngsters on the way up in the sport is the direction we should be taking. Drymls had more than enough chances over the years and while he may well do a good job at the Showground his away performances are now dire.
  8. And of course history shows that Promoters never lie and mislead supporters do they.
  9. I thought you were the expert on the rules You certainly were not slow in telling us all the Frosts assets were now owned by the BSPA after they pulled out of the sport. You seem to have a degree in complete bollox
  10. Just don't forget the loan fees, we could also loan you one of our EL Championships for a fee bearing in mind you have never won one.
  11. Surprised Ipswich haven't given up there bye in next years KOC to race against Panthers in the first round, would be a good earner for both clubs
  12. Only rode EL in 2013 and finished with 5.71, so it should be a converted PL on that unless the rule got changed at the AGM.
  13. Good press release Neil but what exactly are we getting for the ST prices that have very quickly been put out. How many league matches, are Panthers in the PL Cup and the KOC and then their are the PL fours and/or challenge matches. Very pleased to see the Panthers running in 2014 but a lot of questions.
  14. Yes but that's the rub we know they do read the BSF, more often under aliases because they continually moan about what's said on here. We even have ex promoters posting on here don't we Tsunami
  15. What's clear from all reports this year is that the EL clubs have all suffered financially for the past few years but despite that Leicester, Ipswich, Rye House and even Workington were supposedly interested in coming up despite the fact that the Sky contract is in serious doubt. Do they know something we don't.
  16. Could be interesting if the no 4 or no 5 rider gets injured and the team has to use R/R, who is eligible to take his rides. Be interesting to see if Olly Allen rides EL
  17. I will be very interested to find out who proposed this rule, wouldn't mind betting its someone who has the best 2 NL riders already in place.
  18. Exactly And those who want British U21 riders at reserve have clearly already got them signed up and scrapping the TR rule will seriously help the solid teams against top heavy sides. Apologies if I sound cynical but have been involved with the sport for too long.
  19. No doubt in my mind at all Hodgy When TR started the deal he was a promoter at Swindon.
  20. Terry Russell does a lot of work for Terry Russell, Speedway couldn't be in a poorer state than it is now its rock bottom and Terry Russell has to take his fair share of the blame.
  21. I can remember riders in the past pulling out of FIM meetings in the past and being taken to task for it, surely if riders enter a said competition they are duly bound to compete in them as long as they accrue the necessary points for onward qualification. Riders withdrawing for any reason other than injury or illness (MC required) should result in a penalty which would pretty much stop all this nonsense. Harris hasn't done anything wrong other than do what he loves, riding any meeting he can, he even guested for the Panthers the night before the GP challenge when our great no 1 and team captain Kenneth Bjerre clearly couldn't be bothered.
  22. Have said this for ages, the league is just to ensure you get into the top 4, once achieved its the form team that wins in the play off. Why do you think they stuffed Panthers on the run in.
  23. I think most of the BSPA get narked about the BSF and I am well aware that a few post on here as well, although not under their real names. The BSPA have a real problem with negativity, a good recent example is the recent problem with Birmingham web site and the steps they took over the press release. The BV v Poole match was a fiasco but let's be fair that's not the only mistake this year.
