  1. Nothing arguably about it, it is. But Somerset's a cracker as well
  2. Crump never had a problem because he holds a british passport
  3. 1. I find it hard to believe that bragging that Newcastle charge the most for their ST is something Newcastle Speedway ask you to do. 2. Sheffield Management made the decision to let Richard Hall go as they explained in their press release in July, I appreciate the words are different but it amounts to the same.
  4. I had a look through the PL web sites last night to see how ours fair against the rivals, some don't bother and the others vary enormously, with some offering no discount if they reach finals of competitions, Edinburgh,s are the most expensive at £325.
  5. He went well at Sheffield as well, remind me who sacked him.
  6. The last time was for a Panthers challenge match at the start of 2012, it was exactly how I remembered it.
  7. I don't disagree with the dirt post, you must spend a lot of your time at Peterborough as it's one of the few places that still use it. Don't think I have seen anything other than shockers at Lakeside and Eastbourne, probably the only good thing about dropping down to the PL this year. Gate and go is boring no argument from me on that one.
  8. A track which encourages racing and is both big enough and wide enough for riders to use many different lines and allows overtaking on any part of it for 4 laps and not just the start and first corner. Being somewhat older than you I have a lot of experience of second tier speedway (30 years plus) and have attended Rye House on numerous occasions.
  9. Not through choice No thankfully he is Swindon's problem now
  10. What for someone in the NL I have read a recent PR which said Ulrich is well sponsored and will have good equipment, crap equipment has always been his downfall but we won't know until he rides.
  11. Fair enough, apologies if I got the wrong end of the stick As for whose likely, it's down to the ones picking the side, with 2 inexperienced reserves and Blackbird it's got to be a good signing or most of the initial good start will be for nothing. Sent you a PM Terry
  12. Are you serious, whilst Dryml would obviously be good at the Showground he is crap everywhere else and Klindt,s just crap full stop. I suppose it's only a matter of time before Monbergs name gets mentioned What part of talented, young and on the way up don't you understand
  13. Joe Jacobs (3.44) and Oliver Greenwood (3.00) to form Panthers reserve pairing in 2014. Leaves them 7.77 for the last rider. Info Peterborough Telegraph
  14. North is young, talented and will likely improve, he can do well on a number of different tracks although he is yet to fully master the Showground. In addition he is a Panthers asset and has a established 2013 PL GSA, that isn't too high. Just the sort of rider we should be chasing if we are serious about making the play offs.
  15. 17.2.6 Where a Rider has only one (EL or PL) Established MA from the previous season, then this MA is used, converted if necessary as per SR 17.2.4.
  16. It's work in progress, 2014 rule books normally surface around February
  17. New rider tomorrow but I think you might have read it wrong for boxing day
  18. In that you are correct and unlike a lot on here I have personal experience of how the organisation works and the stunts it pulls. A lot of what goes on now gets well reported on here which is why the BSPA hate the forum, they would rather most supporters were kept completely in the dark, until this outdated mindset changes this sport will continue to die. If the BSPA changed and started to work in an open, honest and fair way I would be the first to congratulate them unfortunately it's the complete opposite as you and me both know only too well.
  19. Bearing in mind the fuss it's caused its a certainty But as I said earlier some teams are allowed to play this game and others are not, that's what stinks.
  20. Not disputing Somerset should have told him, just commenting on the utter farce regarding Kurtz snr and the BSPA office. As a former member of the association/Newcastle you are hardly unbiased are you.
  21. I have read most of the thoughts on this episode and my first thought was this has nothing to do with Denmark and more to do with someone stopping Somerset from getting young Brady on a false starting average. I wouldn't mind betting if he was starting for Edinburgh or Newcastle he would be on a 3.00.
