As you say whilst they allocate the British u21 and main Final to tracks like Lakeside and Wolverhampton nothing will change, it might be a good idea to stage the British Final at Lynn especially if its where GB race in a 2014 SWC round. Some training and practice on learning how to be bloody competitive out of the gate might help as well.

Have to say I fully agree, he talked about the pride of representing your country and he couldn't be arsed. -
Who Should Be In Gb World Cup Team?
bigcatdiary replied to bri1966's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Well in answer to the title question, if Middleditch thinks Kennett should still be in the team after that pathetic display at Birmingham last night then both him and Kennett should be dropped. -

Excellent wish they would move permanently to Wednesdays. -
All the tracks provide a bond to the BSPA when starting so why not use that, the clubs could then repay it back over the next few years.

British GP 2013

Polish GP programmes are about £3 but they do vary country to country, cost of producing the programmes is dirt cheap so the mark up is horrendous. -

Would have been nice to actually be able to hear what was said over the speakers, we were middle tier on the second bend and couldn't hear or understand anything said, and not for the first time either. -

To be honest I have seen worse British GP,s, I have also seen much better but that's the problem with temporary tracks its not an exact science although some of the established European tracks like Prague and Terenzano are bloody awful every year. As others say in this day and age it's impossible to stop bad news creeping out and it was clear Cardiff had a problem on the Friday with the track, that said I wasn't aware of any press releases or updates despite reading that their would be on here. To be fair the British GP is a good day out even though it is a bit expensive but good weather helps and this years was very good. -

He wasn't that good Phil, he had 7 rides as well. Well past his best that's why he is a reserve at Belle Vue. -
No John it's all done on computer spreadsheets now.

They can change their own official stats as I have known it done, think it might be Durno that needs to do it though.

Lol It's probably why the British GP is so successful, the less the BSPA have to do with anything the better. -

Will please the other 15 riders as well, that's one rider they won't have to worry about. -

Must be honest and say I always used the stars race programme so was surprised it wasn't in this weeks issue, although I accept lack of space was at a premium. -
How Many Heats In A League Meeting ?
bigcatdiary replied to rusky's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Have to say I agree, second half were generally used for testing and hardly ever taken seriously, as for 13 or 15 I would go for 15 every time although I really liked the 18 heat formula they used for cup competitions. -
