So Panthers have a full team at Foxhall and Bach replaces Fisher at Alwalton, these 2 matches could have a major bearing on the league cup table with Ipswich looking the most handicapped by missing riders at Foxhall. A Good Friday double against the old enemy, should be entertaining they usually are.

Just do what the rest of the Panthers fans do and completely ignore him/her. -

Dan HALSEY in for JACOBS tomorrow apparently. No preview yet on either site. -
Peterborough restaging their match with Plymouth as the first attempt was abandoned due to a power failure (and not a bloody fuse as some plonker stated in the star letters this week) No team news yet other than JACOBS missing from Panthers due to the GB U21 Final. Weather forecast is good for Tuesday so everything looking good.

Oh dear, looks like reality has set in after a promising start to the season, perhaps the scribes got the team right after all. -

That was his 96th official match for Panthers and well over half of those have been at Peterborough, its been clear to me from the start that the Showground circuit is slicker so far this year than it was in 2013 and if I can see it a professional speedway rider should be able to as well. As I said I am pleased to see him amongst the points because a firing Dryml helps the team, and that's what its all about. I think the riding switch with him and Bjerre has helped as well. -

Doesn't excite the team managers either, neither of them are going. Is Summers really the best we can get to cover Fisher. -

Well that result opens up the group somewhat, been a good day for shock results. -

Excellent GP, thoroughly enjoyed it. Well done Martin Smolinski I certainly didn't see that coming. Bloody light years ahead of the EL -
The whole thing is down to a lack of riders, UK speedway simply does not have enough riders to go around and the after cutting the EL down to help a lot of superstars with as few matches as possible and to cut costs over the years it's not enough for second strings or reserves to get by on. One answer would be to run EL and PL on different nights, that would cut all this guests and RR crap out overnight.

My first visit since 2011 and to be fair I thought the track didn't look too bad and it certainly wasn't dusty. Once the racing action started it was clear that trapping still played a major role at Rye and the Rockets (Lambert apart) were all very good with Kennett exceptional. Panthers were not helped by missing two riders and although the result wouldn't likely have been different I think it would have been a bit closer. As a Panthers fan I want to see a full strength team, I couldn't give a stuff about Eastbourne and Wolves. Have to say that the fish and chips at the stadium now is awful, which is a shame as it used to be very good.

Peterborough V Rye House 18 March Challenge

But unfortunately that's not the case for everyone as Harkess stated in the star last week over the Aussie visas. That's my point some clubs get common sense and some clubs get nothing, if it was consistent and applied fairly I wouldn't have a problem with common sense being applied. -

Local weather updates are always welcome, especially if they expect fans to travel. It really is time every track did it as routine. -

Air fence repair took 32 minutes and York is only better than anyone else at irritating and annoying supporters. I agree with others Darren Fletcher is light years ahead of anyone I have listened too in my 45 years experience.
