That's certainly the case with Ross Brady. An 8 point rider before he suffered a terrible head injury. When we signed him I was optomistic, but he had clearly lost his bottle, shutting off half way down the straights. In hindsight I'm ashamed of how he was treated by some Rockets fans.
Travelled three times to Somerset to see the Rockets score 26, 28 & 20 points. If we'd been there a fourth time I'd have gone again. I guess that makes me a mug too!
Silver wants more meetings at Rye House, so an NL team could be a possibility. Probably along the lines of Scunny, but with one or two more experienced riders in the side. Very quiet on the Rockets side. We've usually heard something by now
Silver from the early to mid 80's. I caught the end of his last year at Rye House before he went to Arena Essex. Great talent.
Could also make a case for Bob Garrad, Kelvin Mullarkey, Marvin Cox and Karl Fiala for inclusion in the best ever Rockets side
