  1. We left soon after the ref had returned to the box. Didn’t hear anything else. As for Ty Proctor, my sources say nerve damage, nothing broken
  2. A heroic point for the Bandits with some shenanigans from the Diamonds with George Congreve having “delayed concussion” after two rides and the referee being called to the pits after heat 15 to investigate Berwick complaints about Paul Starkes silencer.
  3. Met Office forecast has indeed changed to 60% chance of light showers
  4. Wasn’t it at Newcastle you turned out that Hungarian geezer to pootle round for half a lap, then was never seen again, just so you could keep RR for him?
  5. Because it was worth shouting about after the processional racing Bandits fans have been used to in recent seasons
  6. If you looked at the score you’d think it was all one way traffic, but nothing could be further from the truth. Bandits had to work hard for the points. Some superb racing. One of the better meetings I’ve seen at Shielfield
  7. One of the biggest disappointments is the Leicester track. They had a blank canvas and came up with that.
  8. Meeting abandoned. No club should be allowed to run meetings without a back up ambulance.
  9. 9 in the Birmingham meeting, 9 in the Bullets meeting last Saturday
  10. I’d estimate 200-300. It was freezing and there’s a double header next week.
  11. Would be a dream to see Rye House back. I’m 300+ miles away, so home meetings are a no no for me. Hopefully get to see them when they come up to Berwick
  12. You’re always up against it if you visit Edinburgh and see McGregor is the referee.
  13. Best meeting I’ve seen this year. Bandits deserved a draw at least
  14. I’ll give it a go, just for the novelty value, especially as it’s included as part of the season pass.
