  1. Yes, he was brought in as a temporary signing once original RS Jack Thomas was injured. How long Jack is likely to be out I don't know.
  2. I thought Kerr was sidelined for 9 days with concussion following his crash at Oxford last Wednesday.
  3. I looked here again just now. Perhaps it is out of date. Hoping for 6.15 though! https://www.tvguide.co.uk/mobile/channellisting.asp?ch=400#677455804
  4. We'll wait to see. If it is the BBC forecast you are looking at I find their predictions increasingly inaccurate. The Met Office is a much better gauge, dry and sunny for Monday
  5. Scores riding as a guest do not count towards average calculations.
  6. Scott is not at Wolves. Their latest declaration has Becker back in the side.
  7. Meeting starts in just over an hour and, strangely, no thread started. Line-ups: EDINBURGH: Josh Pickering, Lasse Fredriksen, Kye Thomson, Paco Castagna, Craig Cook, Kyle Bickley, Jacob Hook.BERWICK: Thomas Jorgensen, Jonas Knudsen, Leon Flint, Jye Etheridge, Rory Schlein, Connor Coles, Nathan Stoneman.
  8. Confirmed here: https://britishspeedway.co.uk/premiership/thursdays-premiership-team-news-form-guide/
  9. Either you have mis-read the meeting preview or it has been amended subsequently but it shows RR for Riss.
  10. Jason failed to win a race at Oxford this evening. Scott scored a paid maximum.
  11. You can only have a guest to replace any of the top three riders by CMA. Riss is fourth in the averages.
  12. A further worry for Ipswich is the fact that Riss, originally in Redcar's lineup for tonight's match v Birmingham but subsequently postponed, pulled out yesterday and Steve Worrall was booked as a guest. On the matter of postponements I now make this the 17th, including abandoned without a result declared so far this season.
  13. Oxford are riding on Wednesday against Plymouth which also rules out former Bee, Ben Barker.
  14. The correct term is suspension but he will miss the meeting against Belle Vue next Thursday. Danny, Keynan and reserves eligible to take his rides.
  15. New line-up, taken from Aces Website: 1 Charles Wright, 2 Robert Lambert, 3 Justin Sedgmen, 4 Brady Kurtz, 5 Chris Harris, 6 Matej Zagar, 7 Max Fricke, 8 Tom Brennan, 9 Jason Doyle, 10 Hans Andersen, 11 Kye Thompson, 12 Niels-Kristian Iversen, 13 Tobiasz Musielak, 14 Jaimon Lidsey, 15 Norick Blodorn, 16 Dan Bewley RESERVES: 17 Jake Mulford, 18 Jack Smith
  16. Only a pre-season challenge being held mid-week. I would not expect many spectators.
  17. The whole meeting is on youtube starting here. I've not had time to view it yet.
  18. Danny has won this year's Ben Fund.
  19. Latest Met Office prediction is for heavy rain between 8 to 10pm tomorrow evening and more or less backed up by BBC summary and weather map. https://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/forecast/u12b4ht3f#?date=2023-03-23 https://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2646057
  20. Meeting being streamed live by BSN https://watch.britishspeedway.co.uk/
  21. He was. Rode in four world finals finishing as bronze medallist in 1975 (4th 5th and 6th in the other three). World best Pairs Champion 1976, three times World Cup Winner (72, 74, 75) British Champion 1975 plus many more titles. I recommend his book 'A Life in Speedway.' https://www.amazon.co.uk/John-Louis-Life-Speedway/dp/0992742706
