  1. Money desperatley needed by most PL/NL clubs next year for Air/Foam fences.
  2. What was the cost for the fence at Berwick, £35-£40k?
  3. Tero hopes to be back for the home match....oh rain forecast..............
  4. Still a strong Monarchs side would be happy to come away with a point but cant see it!
  5. Not what i heard. End of season meets and BIG meets at Workington gone ahead in heavy rain but not good for spectators...............from what i have heard meeting at Somerset should not have even started.....some big lessons to be learned here...
  6. Have some sympathy with the Somerset management but could make it ok for other clubs in the future to call off/cancell meets due to poor track preperation...............
  7. I did say Europe...........anyway i need to spend MONEY!!
  8. PREMIER LEAGUE KO CUP, 1st leg Somerset 5 Workington 1 Match abandoned after one heat waterlogged track - Result does not Stand From BSPA site!
  9. Might give Cardiff a miss next year and try one in Europe, maybe Copenhagen.
  10. Tough meet for the Comets and I believe the 6pt margin will not be enough to take to Somerset tonight but I have been wrong before...............Worky seem to have lost their way in the past few weeks wether that is due to lack of racing i do not know? Another solid display by Richard, Rene and Rusty but all the others were inconsistent, still it was against one of the faourites for the League this year! Best of luck to Worky tonight............head down ass up and stay safe!!
  11. Possible fixture change to Sunday afternoon if Saturday is affected by the weather.
  12. I do not think anyone is questioning Cookies abilty just the movement at the starts and i thought he moved in two or three of them...the rules as i understand are for the riders to be still at the tapes. Maybe many riders are guilty of this but the Sky cameras picked this up with the close up of the starts. All in all a very good meeting and a good advert for the sport.
  13. Great racing tonight at the OTA, Cookie likes a rolling start!!
  14. Worky bring a coach full of fans up for this meet (my second visit to Glasgow) and will be looking for a win but as with any sport never take anything for granted!!
  15. The Comets take on a strong Redcar Bears side who are looking for at least a point at Derwent Park, especially with the inform Micky Dyer who has a liking for the Workington track! Only change in the Worky line up will be r/r for Tero with Chris Mills hopefully returning from injury. Hopefully the track will be getting a good watering over the next few days as the good weather looks like continuing.
