Race of the night, heat 10 Grajczonek goes from last to first....was still second with over a lap to go and well back.....How did he do that!!!

Some bad feeling from the Moanarchs Enjoyed the meeting some good racing, not too concerned yet the Worky riders still to get to their best, all credit to Edinburgh on the win and have some fine reserves in Worrall and Sedgmen, also Masters was very good. Still think Worky will make the Play offs at the end of the season.

Rearranged for May the 18th, League match to be re scheduled.

I did think that cost would be a factor but it seems a lot of magazines are now being shrink wrapped when posted.

A few showers today but set to to be dry from 6/7 pm.

One for Phil Rising, i have no problem with the delivery to the door of the SS 99% of the time it is very promt but i do have a concern with the condtion of the mag . Lately with the wet weather (today) the magazine is in an awful state due to it getting wet. Is there any chance the mag could be packaged in a clear plastic cover instead of the brown paper envelope or would this incur greater cost?

Wether just out for a spin or making a comeback i wish James well.

Seems to be a lot going on behind the scenes with a alot of monies being owed...cannot really blame Emil for pulling out of the GPs......must be verry dissolusioned with the sport.

Thanks for that, looks like its going to be Sweden for my first GP abroad. Have looked on a few Youtube clips of the Stockholm and it does look like a great city.

Thinking of going to the Stockholm GP in September any thoughts experiences....

Taken from the official Workington site ** May 2013 ** Unfortunately it is with regret that I need to let everyone know that the UKBA will not go back on their original decision to refuse my visa for 2013 due to the new rules which came into effect at the end of last year. The grounds of refusal are based on paragraph 245HB of the UK Immigration Rules which states: “(g) The applicant must not have had entry clearance or leave to remain as a Tier 2 Migrant at any time during the 12 months immediately before the date of the application” The grounds for my appeal were that we believed this rule was for when an application was being made to renew an expired visa . My visa was valid until 1/12/13 and the only reason we had to re-apply was due to the full transfer from Glasgow to Workington and we believed it to be just a formality so that the sponsor details could be changed on the existing visa. Apparently this is not the case and anybody who puts in an application for a Tier 2 Sportsperson Visa will be faced with these new rules. ( Even though several applicants this year have slipped through the system.) The whole process started in the UK at the beginning of January and has taken until now to be refused. To say that I am devastated is an understatement.
