reading the Star this week seems like a year of consolidation at Newcastle .

Anything positive to say about Workington....I think we will do ok win home meets, get one or two away wins and finish fifth or sixth.

Ty, should do ok maybe not quite as good as Thomas Jorgensen but will score some decent points.

Interesting article in this weeks Speedway Star about the future of the sport and the need to attract the younger audience to watch Speedway because if we don’t there will be a predicted black hole of fans in a few years time. The fan base is already dwindling fast with younger people in the 18-30 age bracket not interested in Speedway or very few are. A very informative piece which also looks at engine development in these environmentally challenging times when vehicles are moving towards greener fuels and electric power and what shape if any Speedway will take?

I paid £6 for seated ticket.

Last year I predicted bottom four placing, this year I will say fifth or sixth, but who knows there is potential there to be in the top four....after that it’s all up in the air.

Agree I was there too; a bit like Cardiff sometimes it’s the experience rather than the racing!!

Glad Rene is back with Workington but very surprised he has agreed to come back, maybe he has some good sponsorship.

Contradicting, chaotic, confusing, constantly changing year on year or even more, I am of average intelligence but gave up trying to make sense of the rules many years ago....just my thoughts.
