  1. Both home meetings at Workington this season have been far better as regards getting the meeting over with as little delay as possible, long may it continue

Workington Comets hope to get there season under way against the Edinburgh Monarchs, the Comets will have a guest (Bradley Wilson-Dean) in place of Mason Campton who has been injured whilst practising (broken wrist in four places). The weather forecast at the moment looks favourable. The Monarchs have a decent side and track former Comets Ricky Wells and Matt Williamson along with the potent Riss brothers.
  3. Charles Wright rides for Belle Vue in place of Steve Worrall.
  4. According to the bbc weather app it’s ok until about 9pm
  5. Sheffield will definitely be in the top four barring injuries , they have a strong heat leader trio in Howarth, Wright and Bjerre.

  11. Just watched the Chris Holder interview and he reports back that the track has improved greatly from last year.
  12. I thought that too, as I said a few months back a year on consolidation for Newcastle.
  13. Only a matter of time, electric mountain bikes and electric moto cross bikes are getting more efficient .
  14. Seems to me is if you cannot pay the riders the club should not be in business.
  15. West coast was fine just a wee few flakes, Carlisle and the lakes were hardest hit.
  16. It says in the Star they are still trying to piece together a team for the start of the new season and have added Danny Phillips to the asset base buying him from Peterborough .
  17. This saga has run longer than the Scot Nicholls story.
