  1. Weather forecast looking good for the rest of the day.
  2. After Workingtons good win away at Redcar the Comets have potentially one of their toughest home matches of the season against the Monarchs. The Edinburgh side have some good heat leaders in Sam Masters and last years Comets favourite Ricky Wells who can beat the best around Derwent Park, with the Riss brothers providing back up the Monarchs will be looking for at least a point from their visit to Cumbria.
  3. Well done Workington , got the points corrrect just the wrong way round!!
  4. No chance cannot even get fans to applaud the home riders.
  5. Does not look much stronger, glad Richard Lawson has a team place in the Premiership....with so many riders available and doubling up promoters are more likely to make changes this season.
  6. Howe looked very good for his first meeting back, Berwick did well to keep the meeting close until half way, then Worky took control. Things might have been different if Bridger had been there. Well done to Matt Williamson on his top scoring for the Comets with 11 plus two bonus.
  7. The Comets with new signing James Sarjeant go up against the Bandits with out of retirement David Howe in their side. Workington will be looking for a much need win after some close encounters in recent weeks, weather should be ok with only light rain forecast for Saturday morning. Good luck to Adam Roynon in finding a new team place.
  8. Somerset were very competitive at Belle Vue recently and won the meet but maybe caught the Aces on a off day having said that it was a afternoon meeting and the track dried out very quickly plus the fact that the Belle Vue track is not dissimilar to Somersets. Tungate that day was awesome, I think the Rebels will be ok.... might need one minor change?
  9. I'll just stick with by sports and watch gps and British speedway
  10. Hougaard finished 10th in his qualifier, don't think he will progress to the next round, whilst Bjerre finished third with 12pts, behind winner Timo Lahti (14pts), and Martin Smolinski on 13pts, so yes I think I know what you mean Bjerre will be missing another three Saturday nights, whilst Hougaard won't. Yes thanks , got there early had a pie and a drink too.
  11. Some great racing in a fantastic stadium, a pleasure to watch Speedway in such a modern stadium , if only all tracks were like this!! Tun gate was superb , his races with Cook were worth the admission alone. Well done Somerset.
