After last Saturday nights thrilling win over Glasgow Workington will be looking for a more comfortable victory over Scunthorpe if possible.
Workington should be at full strength but there may be a doubt over James Sarjeant?
Knew before we set off the meet was off but had hotel and train tickets , still had a good day out in Glasgow, to be fair the rain did come around 3/3:30, so was probably the right decision , must have been some heavy overnight rain though to cal it off so early.
A great night of fantastic action and close score line, I thought the Comets were in for a good beating half way through but they fought back to win against a very tough aGlasgow side.
Many thanks to the travelling Tigers fans who added to a exciting finale.
So after the British GP break the Comets are back in action against the high flying Tigers from Glasgow, the Comets will again be without Craig Cook but will have Chris Harris as the guest.
I,m not sure who the guest will be for Sarjeant but the Comets will need to be on their toes because the Tigers pose a real threat .
The weather forecast at the moment is looking changeable....sunshine and showers all day then!!
Hopefully we can get this meet on or we will be riding in November to complete the fixtures.
Im about 10 miles from the track and its been raining all morning, forecast says it will clear at 11:00am but more rain forecast for early evening....
Not looking good?
