They could get to a final with as little as 9 race points and walk away with 20! Crazy!! Current system also means a rider can coast through a GP and just turn it on at the end. We've gone from the most ruthless knock out system, which personally was my favourite, to cumulative points, which was probably fairer and still allowed for a bad ride here and there to this current system which makes no sense for a heat system with semis and a final

Cumulative race points... simples, everybody knows what's going on at all times. I know what you're going to say the winning GP rider may not get the most points, that never really bothered me in the grand scheme of things. But for those that it does just award 21 race points for winning a GP and race points for everybody else. Bottom line is it MUST be understandable to the general viewing public

Would much rather watch riders that wanted to be there than some of these big time Charlie's that think they're bigger than the sport. You'd expect better from some of them, just remember when it comes round to testimonial and farewell meetings though. -
Well done to Rob & Bartek... but Zmarzlik is undoubtedly a class rider and easily the best of his generation, he could afford to miss Vojens last year and use Cardiff as a test session this year and still win with a round to spare. He was basically gifted the 2020 world title has had his 2 major rivals removed from the series and further still won this year's with the weakest line up for quite some time. I think there's quite a bit in what others have said about the money available in Poland devaluing the SGP series. You can only beat what's put in front of you though, so fair play to him.

There's clearly not enough riders of the quality needed to ride at PL level to sustain the RS system. Sam Hagon, the British U21 Champion, is barely able to score a single point in his last 9 meetings. You get the feeling if his name wasn't Hagon (bankrolled) he'd have probably quit by now. Reminds me a bit of how Lee Richardson started his career.

Big reduction in league strength between 2023 & 2024 though... so slightly inflated but an increase is an increase. -

Luke Killeen seems a tidy little rider, I've been impressed by him whenever I've seen him this season -
