Actually pharmacists can and do offer advice to customers, sometimes whether the customer has asked for it or not. My local pharmacist has recently refused to sell my old mum some over the counter cough medicine and indigestion medicine due to potential side effects... she just goes to Tesco instead and gets her stuff from there now! But you're right it's nobody's fault but Lee’s.

Never heard of it... how do I listen?

Bugger! Too busy being a clever dick... you've been awfully quiet on Wojgate.

Just the 7 points from the saviour of King's Lynn speedway only managing to beat Bailey, Mountain & Blodorn on a track that should have suited him down to the ground

Sheffield vs Ipswich 13th May

Interesting, I was a Leicester fan until they closed at the end of '83, home matches only though as I was only a kid, but as I got more and more into my Speedway and started to earn some money, began to follow Coventry and Long Eaton at home and then got properly hooked and started following both home and away, being in different leagues. Long Eaton closed which just left Cov... cut to a number of years later and Leicester re-opened, but by this time I was a Cov fan!!! And even though Leicester only being a mile and half from where I live, I didn't often go to Beaumont Park, it being the worst race track in the country didn't really help. Since Cov's demise, I'm now following Leicester again... so if (and yes I'm sure it will one day, even if not at Brandon) Cov re-open, I'm really not sure whether I'd be back, like I was before anyway. Time and club loyalties can be a funny thing when mixed

I think you're giving him far too much credit for thinking he knows exactly what he's doing. Did he know exactly what he was doing when he attacked and assaulted an unarmed fan in Poland a while back. You can be controversial without being offence, you only had to watch him during the British Speedway press day sat in front of all the other riders giving it the Billy big spuds effing and jeffing and a lot of the other riders giggling like school kids because Tai had used a bad word... it's all been done before, see Bill Grundy, it's a shame because he can be quite an engaging character when he's not "performing" -

I noticed somebody with a gizmo pointing it at the fork covers of a few bikes... did anybody notice a guy in the Zmarzlik pits wearing a Boss shirt with an Anlas logo on it? -

Isn't that the 2nd GP where the "graveyard" gates have come good at the end providing semi and final victors -

How long is the track? 387m as the first caption said or 318m as the second caption said? -
King’s Lynn Stars v Leicester Lions - Thursday 9th May

They could have worded it like that, makes it sound like there's still an investigation ongoing -

What does "and also already being under investigation due to the fixture being postponed in May 2023" mean? -
No, no, no!

But Tolley had 7 to "choose" from. You're right of course (just waiting for @LagutaRacingFan to pipe up )

I don't blame them

Let the speculation begin!

It's all they're going to get though, it was clear when they announced their "top 2" at the start of the season that the management were either poor judges of riders or were working to a budget and trying to pull the wool over the fans eyes. Their fate was sealed with those 2 signings with the only doubt being whether they could see the season out.

Milik has been a disaster at No 1 and not much better at reserve, currently averaging 4.11 from 9 matches and his average was only going 1 way. Sedgeman 5.60 from 26 matches last year... of course he's a better replacement

We've had quite a few Poles return to Britain this year and quite frankly they've added nothing!

British Final 2024
IainB replied to Hackett's topic in Speedway Testimonials & Individual and Shared Events
Great news, should add a few on the attendance, especially from Sheffield to support 2 Tigers legends -
They need to get themselves over here to learn their trade instead of setting their sights on a Polish U24 team spot

You'll just be fobbed off with a standard statement to the effect of TV schedules are subject to change without prior notice etc. etc. blah, blah, blah -
Brum would be better off gambling on Scandis rather than these unreliable central European throttle jockeys. Lindback could do you a job, Kim Nilsson. Anybody, they're more suited to British tracks

If you like your Speedway then I suggest you do, you shouldn't have to but treat it as insurance. Another negative though is that the Discovery+ app only seems to stream stereo sound where as it's transmitted in DD5.1 on linear (Unless I've got a setting wrong somewhere)
